Some level 1 warlock standing on the net near ally fly path and keep sending their pet to attack you so guards attack you after his pet dies... this is not about players been autistic and stupid, this is about Blizzard YET AGAIN neglecting their own game and doing nothing. Did nothing about botting, doing nothing about bugs like this.

Let me clarify. I don't support anyone harassed. I hate getting griefed more than anything and I couldn't do it to someone or watch someone do it without trying to stop it. But seeing some of those names from classic world buff griefing, then they are around for way too long. And I know griefer that just have the mindset to mess with people out of fun. The game is at a point where griefers have so many easy ways to griefe, especially through unintended behavior. Old bugged quests or even newly introduced bugs like spacebar water. You are making an example of griefers, but they really don't care. They can griefe as low level, they can respawn and before they get banned, it's again weeks and months. You really didn't achieve nothing, since griefers still have all the tools to easily grief. Best example is how bad of players they are. Banning 2 people is not a win looking over so many months of daily griefing. They still haven't fixed NPCs that never leash of. So many bugs in the game that should have already been gone during Season of Mastery. If they really care, if they really think about the community. Why is still nothing done to actually enhance the HC experience for the community? As long as there are tools for griefing, people will use it. Chronoboon back then was helping against WB griefing a lot. It changed so much on the server, why not do the same and finally FIX THE GAME... before they make their own HC servers and its back to unappealable dying to bullshit and people again rather play with addon again.

Wait, VoiViD? I remember him from like 3 years ago. He was actually a medium sized streamer when classic re-launched, playing a warlock, doing his crazy marathons being awake for days. He always struggled with mental health, drinking and probably drugs. Seemed to me like a very troubled man with a lot of troubles, trying to escape from his life.
He got banned from the HC community a couple years ago. He used to play all the time and was even the first person to make it naked to 60. Then money, alcohol and drugs got in the way and he started WILDIN OUT on stream, saying he was going to rape his wife and constantly saying the N word, among many other things. It sucks to see that he's one of the griefers and to hear him act like this. He used to be one of my good friends a few years ago and we've even met IRL. It's crazy to see people change. Or rather to see their true colors come out. I was hoping he was doing better, but obviously that's not true. Sad day and a sad man..

For the short amount of time I watched him I could really see his personality change over time. He seems to be in a very dark place, indeed. I’m happy you put this out, considering the only deaths I’ve had were from griefs and it turned me off from doing the hardcore challenge anymore. Both were around level 30, and although they weren’t far along, it was just demoralizing to do everything right, and then be put in a no counterplay situation 2x in a row to a griefer. And since there are so many appeal requests the only option was to go again. My warrior was so beefed up and I did not want to redo that, now I’m doing the naked challenge on the hunter and I’m 20, but to say that it’s fun anymore would be a lie. Hopefully hc official comes out and reignites the want, shout out to savix for making this video
This is the best video I have ever seen. The one griefer backtoElwynn (i.e. Zuggin or Rallik) is a notorious jerk from Classic Vanilla and TBC Classic Azuresong. Was in his TBC guild, where he mocked anyone trying to learn arena, got banned for yelling at people in BGs, and rage quit the guild for not getting glaives (he wasn't even the best player on a PVE server). Not surprising to see him here. Thank you Savix for using your position in the community well, lots of respect for you.
It’s unbelievable how pathetic these guys are years ago a guy camped my body for 2 hours so I logged out and came back the next day and he was STILL there to camp me. Never had I attacked anybody first so it wasn’t revenge or anything just spent two days for the sole purpose of making a random guy’s life worse.

Great video. I think the majority of the player base agree that griefing this way is not acceptable, regardless if it's HC or not. The people who still think transferring their geared 60's to an RP server to ruin people's fun will never change, unfortunately. They should be permabanned. They know what they are doing is wrong. They are the same people who bring up "It WaS LiKE ThIS in 2005". They are now in their mid 30's. They are adults. They will not change. Perma ban them and move on. These losers will just make another account, waste their time and money, and get perma'd again. That's how much of a loser they are. Perma banning 100 rotten people is way more beneficial money wise than people quitting all together because Blizzard doesn't ban them.

Wish I knew you were making this Savix, I could have told you the story of when we HC mods launched the anti-griefer rules. It allowed HC players to defend other players or themselves against griefers, and be able to continue if they died. The griefers got so triggered they actually made a video crying that HC players were ressing after getting killed by them. Legit made a whole ass video trying to say I was cheating too because I would res after dying defending my fellow players. My favourite part was almost killing their rogue in Westfall despite being 4 levels lower, with an autoattack paladin LOL. So bad. I can't believe they had to actually buy a geared toon because they can't play. That was news to me, hilariously cringe.
Thanks for reminding me why I stopped playing Wow. So many bugs and issues with the game get ignored until a streamer throws a fit, then Blizz gets off its ass and does something. Also, if you're going to try to take the moral high ground, don't sling hateful slurs like a toxic POS.
I don't understand, why do people complain about being attacked in world pvp? Like, why would people complain about being attacked if they play on a pvp server? I only heard about the hardcore vanilla trend for the last 3ish weeks now, so some information would be appreciated.
Hardcore servers are on a rp-pve server and they’re force flagging lvl 10s/20s. I mentioned in the video if it’s a pvp server I don’t care. However they continue harassing/making things up about not getting banned etc. and that’s where it’s not okay 👍
They all most definitely deserve bans. I hate giving them attention, but hopefully all this drama they are creating catches blizzards attention and bites them in the ass.

I would welcome them throwing money atr the game for more accounts, imagine the day when they are grown old men and they reflect on the waste of money and time. The levels of embarressement they will have will be brutal.
It looks like Blizzard will be taking a hardline on this sort of thing. I hope it means the official servers will be polished enough to avoid this from happening. I think disabling PvP and making mobs reset their leash after a certain amount of range from the original spawn point should work. There will be other ways to grief but those should do the trick for a vast majority of situations. There is no realistic reason to kite a mob after a certain amount of range, you're essentially running away at that point, anyway.
WoW community: "WoW is dying, the game needs to be attractive for new players!" Also WoW community: *spend their entire lifetime griefing other HC players because "streamers are ruining classic wow"* I know it's just a few but you see the point i am making. Truly some crying manbabies who take the game too seriously.

Thanks Savix, really well worded and really well done video! Watched it twice as its very satisfying to watch. Videos like these and actions like yours help the fight against griefers. Blizzard is more likely to take action against griefers when more people speak up and talk about it.
The problem with Blizzard is that they listen to the 1% over the 99% this leads to shitty rules, shitty games, and shitty customer support. This may all sound good and dandy and I agree with you about the guy in your video. But you need to take this and actually apply this in the future. What happens when they think a normal person is "griefing" ? They will just ban whenever they feel like it and when you go to challenge have a bot say nah sorry your fucked.... unless you are a streamer with hard evidence. So its not the fact that the griefer exists you will never stop this.... The issue is game design, change the game so they can't do this to you dont advocate for them banning. However, this will lead right back to a shitty game. Blizzard can control the game design not the griefers focus on an actual solution.

My friend got banned for "cheating", when it's a bug you can prove but he was never able to speak to one human GM, when he kept trying to they banned his battle net account rather than have a human being speak to him. The bugs still in the game right now and this was years ago. Blizz dont care, unless it's to protect their streamer friends.

You can enable "interact on lift click" in the interface menu and make it a habit to left click NPC's to avoid autoattacking the opposite faction. This is the best video I have ever seen. The one griefer backtoElwynn (i.e. Zuggin or Rallik) is a notorious jerk from Classic Vanilla and TBC Classic Azuresong. Was in his TBC guild, where he mocked anyone trying to learn arena, got banned for yelling at people in BGs, and rage quit the guild for not getting glaives (he wasn't even the best player on a PVE server). Not surprising to see him here. Thank you Savix for using your position in the community well, lots of respect for you.

It’s unbelievable how pathetic these guys are years ago a guy camped my body for 2 hours so I logged out and came back the next day and he was STILL there to camp me. Never had I attacked anybody first so it wasn’t revenge or anything just spent two days for the sole purpose of making a random guy’s life worse.

Great video. I think the majority of the player base agree that griefing this way is not acceptable, regardless if it's HC or not. The people who still think transferring their geared 60's to an RP server to ruin people's fun will never change, unfortunately. They should be permabanned. They know what they are doing is wrong. They are the same people who bring up "It WaS LiKE ThIS in 2005". They are now in their mid 30's. They are adults. They will not change. Perma ban them and move on. These losers will just make another account, waste their time and money, and get perma'd again. That's how much of a loser they are. Perma banning 100 rotten people is way more beneficial money wise than people quitting all together because Blizzard doesn't ban them.

What a huge battle between griefers and the one's getting griefed, feel like its free content.
Wish I knew you were making this Savix, I could have told you the story of when we HC mods launched the anti-griefer rules. It allowed HC players to defend other players or themselves against griefers, and be able to continue if they died.
The griefers got so triggered they actually made a video crying that HC players were ressing after getting killed by them. Legit made a whole ass video trying to say I was cheating too because I would res after dying defending my fellow players.
My favourite part was almost killing their rogue in Westfall despite being 4 levels lower, with an autoattack paladin LOL. So bad. I can't believe they had to actually buy a geared toon because they can't play. That was news to me, hilariously cringe.
Thanks for reminding me why I stopped playing Wow. So many bugs and issues with the game get ignored until a streamer throws a fit, then Blizz gets off its ass and does something. Also, if you're going to try to take the moral high ground, don't sling hateful slurs like a toxic POS.

I don't understand, why do people complain about being attacked in world pvp? Like, why would people complain about being attacked if they play on a pvp server? I only heard about the hardcore vanilla trend for the last 3ish weeks now, so some information would be appreciated.
Hardcore servers are on a rp-pve server and they’re force flagging lvl 10s/20s. I mentioned in the video if it’s a pvp server I don’t care. However they continue harassing/making things up about not getting banned etc. and that’s where it’s not okay 👍

It looks like Blizzard will be taking a hardline on this sort of thing. I hope it means the official servers will be polished enough to avoid this from happening. I think disabling PvP and making mobs reset their leash after a certain amount of range from the original spawn point should work. There will be other ways to grief but those should do the trick for a vast majority of situations. There is no realistic reason to kite a mob after a certain amount of range, you're essentially running away at that point, anyway.

The problem with Blizzard is that they listen to the 1% over the 99% this leads to shitty rules, shitty games, and shitty customer support. This may all sound good and dandy and I agree with you about the guy in your video. But you need to take this and actually apply this in the future. What happens when they think a normal person is "griefing" ? They will just ban whenever they feel like it and when you go to challenge have a bot say nah sorry your fucked.... unless you are a streamer with hard evidence. So its not the fact that the griefer exists you will never stop this.... The issue is game design, change the game so they can't do this to you dont advocate for them banning. However, this will lead right back to a shitty game. Blizzard can control the game design not the griefers focus on an actual solution.
That's such a weird take. I agree they should fix what they can, like the scatter feign bug and maybe that quest that tags you for pvp for no reason that they camp all day. But thinking Blizz is gonna ban some innocent randoms is just silly, it's obvious when someone is griefing. If there is evidence they'll ban if not then they wont lmao. I'm just pleasantly surprised that Blizzard is paying attention to the booming HC community first with working on actual hardcore servers and now even banning the biggest griefing spergs out there.
Another thing is because hardcore people usually record their runs in order to appeal griefing and disconnect deaths we have ample evidence of those griefers griefing. They're not just randomly accidentally griefing or anything, they literally live for it (which is so fucking sad lol)

My friend got banned for "cheating", when it's a bug you can prove but he was never able to speak to one human GM, when he kept trying to they banned his battle net account rather than have a human being speak to him. The bugs still in the game right now and this was years ago.
