You are right, X4 is the best 360 camera I know in consumer segment. What do think about the sensitive lenses, one glide out of the hand and the camera is properly destroyed and lens guards significantly deteriorated footage quality.
Yes, that's true - but I normally use a rubber lens cap for transport. And I have to say that in 3 years of using 360 cameras I never damaged a lens. But this of course does not mean that it won't ever happen...🤷🏼
Does the x4 feel too heavy for the helmet mount? Especially for the neck, forehead, pressure, and goggles for skiing videos? How bad is the weight? Thanks for this helpful video. Additionally, could you emphasize how to edit videos with no distortion or zero curvature in action skiing videos, especially for reframing? Which editing tool do you use and recommend the most? I'm getting the insta360 very soon.
I got the X4 for the travel videos I want to shoot around Greece. The 8K 360 mode is amazing and it's a breeze to edit 360 videos on the desktop app, but I've noticed that in Single Lens mode, the video appears very blurry as you move from the center of the image to the edges. Have you noticed the same issue or should I contact Insta360 service?
@@MountMediaChannel Ahh Yes, what a beautiful area. We drove up through the Brenner pass a couple of months ago. I was very impressed and thought Southern Tyrol nicer than the North. I'm from Australia btw hoping to come back.
I'm training to buy ace pr 2 or the X4 for like travelling but mostly to do Cinematic videos some real Estate videos So what do you think will give the better result for Cinematic videos but a so with a stable with Angle camera
The Ace Pro 2 will give you the better overall image quality - especially in low light and is more suited for cinematic shots. The FOV of the X4 is wider and it has better stabilization
@MountMediaChannel is but x4 dosent support gyroflow I think ace pro 2 will give me good stabilization if i turn off EIS and stabilize it in gyroflow bcuz the build in eis will be jittery in low light?
@MountMediaChannel Hi is the 8bit vs 10bit really that difference? Im working in somewhat indoor sometimes low light. And i dosent have any problem with my dji mini4 pro What do you think of the log image in highlights, shadow, and noise of both camera? Im confused about geting the dji action 5 or ace pro, i really into cinematic super wide angle and stable videos
I have a confusion, Does Single lens mode make selfie stick invisible or not? As I've seen some videos on YT saying recorded on single lens mode making selfie stick invisible. But Yours is not. It would be nice if you clarify that.

@@MountMediaChannel Always good luck in the future👍
It's an awesome camera, I don't use my GoPros anymore. I love that Insta keeps the updates frequent as well !
Yes, true - it's a great camera!

I VLOG with my X4 & love it only wish the Pro res file wasn’t so big……
Yes, ProRes files are really big!
Riding a bicycle with no hands!
Great review, too.
Hehe - thanks!
When are they going to fix motion blur on the desktop app? they broke it
Love this camera. What area in Austria are you from?
Actually Italy - South Tyrol - but yes, it's very close to Austria

Hope X5 will have a bigger sensor size.
I have a confusion,
Does Single lens mode make selfie stick invisible or not?
As I've seen some videos on YT saying recorded on single lens mode making selfie stick invisible. But Yours is not.
It would be nice if you clarify that.
The Invisible Selfie Stick effect is created because the images of the 2 sensors overlap - so it's only available in 360 mode
Isn't the me mode single lens which also deletes the stick?
