Hi Family , Often I come across this question from my friends and relatives from India. I am glad you guys summarized well on the current situation, I can forward your video for them. Rather than the Panic local news channels spread in India about US inflation, people like you living here comparing and explaining the facts is more authentic. This was one of the main topics we as a family discussed on Jan 1st this year. Few decisions we took and started implementing . For sure cant counter inflation, but preparing for future. 1. Most expensive food placement: We made a list of most expensive food we buy as part of groceries and spaced it bi weekly or even 3 weeks once instead of every week . Ex: Shiitake Mushrooms which we used to buy every week( Rich B12 Vitamin source) , now we placed it bi weekly as it had gone to $ 13 Dollars from $ 8 Dollars . 2. Sharing the dishes in Hotel : Rather than totally stop going to hotels , we started tasting few and eating few. Meaning previously we used to order two dishes of chicken to eat , now we are ordering one to taste . 3. Car Pooling : Ensuring some one to be there to share the fuel expenses to office. Initially it was tough , but now group is set and coordinating well . This had reduced gas expenses by 30% on a monthly basis. 4. No Impulsive buying : We kept a board in kitchen to write what ever we feel like buying with a date. Rule is DO NOT BUY. after a week we regroup and discuss on a sunday morning coffee time on the list. Honestly I myself felt many stupid things I wrote which are absolutely not needed. Give that extra time for the correct assessment to happen. 5. Buy stocks the way you buy groceries : No matter what we do, paying bills and mortgages will not shield us for future inflation. Every month we started buying stocks, small units lets say 1 Microsoft , 1 Apple . Even its a small unit by end of the year your Balance sheet will have the stocks added up. This really works - Trust me. These are few I can think of which we made changes recently and helping us to see bit more savings and satisfaction. Have a great week. Regards,KC

USA department of health wants people to consume more sweet things , that's y you didn't see much change in fruits. If you observe the price hike is only done on items which are really good for human optimal health. That's business. They want people to get sick and people will become cash cows. So I request n tell everyone that becareful when buying products. End of the day we will loosing more money to department of health. In summary carbohydrates are not essential for human optimal health. Save money on them and buy the animal products. Fruits are also sugar becareful. I hope this helps everyone. If you can get the job you can repay in 1 yr.
