If you need some motor advice let me know, I know a decent amount. Btw, fuel pump problems are pretty rare, but still happen. I would first check your fuel primer. If it’s crazing (lightly cracking) of the fuel line has any gaps, it can make it harder to run. Either way, fuel pump is a super easy thing to fix, so it’s not a big deal either way. I would first look at the fuel primer kit (it’s not something to cheap out on) and your fuel tank, then fuel pump. Either way it was amazing seeing your boat on plane dude, have fun
Yea I thought that too and then I took it out the next day with my regular marine fuel tank and a brand new line and primer bulb and I had to continuously pump it for it to not die so I'm like 90% sure its the pump I have a video of it coming out later this week. Thanks man it was so awesome going that fast on that small a boat, when you get your whaler you wont want to stop going that fast lol
That’s still pretty good though! It feels super fast on a small boat, you could always make sure you have the right pitch prop and you can get more speed by messing with the pitch, thanks for watching!!

You were right! I love the 40 its amazing and the video doesn't do it justice this thing flys! I have one I just didn't use it in this video I had to change the lines and connections
It is, even though I'm not a lefty LOL, I had to put it on the left side because it would interfere with the steering wheel and I couldn't fit it in my console because its too small
@@oneofakindoutdoors my whaler also has the controls on the left I just took the motor and controls off putting on a new etech 90 with right side controls couldn’t take the lefty controls anymore lol

Must be nice. I get about 22-23 MPH (still fun) on my 1968 Classic 13 with Evinrude 15 HP with just me. Glad to see you got yourself a new motor.

It’s a 13 classic. I think it was like 13’4 total length. Perfect starter boat!

I wanted seats but there’s no space with all of the gear unfortunately, so I just use my fish cooler as the seat LOL
