Been playing Dice Throne for awhile, but I never really thought of the characters of having specifics roles. ( I know that they are all different), but I just was mostly rolling the dice and going with it. I like that you have been breaking the Heroes down and discussing which abilities are better than others depending on which character you are playing.
Not having the Pally yet, I never paid explosives enough attention to how hard his rolls can be. Seems like he’d be a good player in team setting, since he can give his effects to teammates.
I think Consecration is a hold on to card to try and have a big play turn. IE Sculpt your hand to have it with dice mods. If its late game and this won't happen, I would sell for the CP. Card Draw/CP engine should not be overlooked. It isn't to the extent of Shadow Thief but feels like there is time to build in the early game. Tithe 2 is mint! This character feels like trash to be honest. His abilities are too hard to roll for. His tokens don’t stack so half the time just taking what the dice gives you results in a wasted turn, rerolling results in you wasting more cp and still may not get what you need.

Question, for clarity: would rolling 3 swords in the defensive phase result in 3 undefendable damage?

Not for the default ability. Only for the upgrades.
