I want to keep some FERT stocks at a certain level all the time .. they are sold regularly. So can I use reorder point planing ? Or is it only for purchased material ?
    Regards.

Re order point planning is mainly for externally procured materials. FERT materials are mainly sold to customers. If you procure FERT materials from external vendors for selling to customers then you can use re order point planning.

@@expertcoachinginsapmmwmsrm1593 one of my customer produces finished goods and they don't want to enter forecast from md61 , instead they want their finished materials to be produced automatically whenever the stock level decraces below a certain level. That's why I want to use VB .. İnstead of using VB , do you recommend any other way to manage this? Regards.

@@ruchancakaloglu I think you can use VB if you are using planned order to produce the finished material in plant. In such case whenever the stock falls below re order point system will create a planned order which will convert into production order. Iin this way you can maintain the stock of the material.
You can test one cycle in test system and make sure it is as per your requirement.
