She was also XG’s dance teacher during their trainee days! I *highly* recommend seeing their performance videos for their songs “Hurricane” (which also has an MV for the extended song coming up on July 10th KST!) and “+82.” Very swaggy choreo 🔥
They missed no beat, every beat have a dance move for it. That makes their performances so satisfied to watch. Specifically +82. I watched countless time. Just love the way they did it ❤️

Not sure if you watched SWF1 but one of the members was in Want (Emma, ms gorl with red hair) and Chloe used to choreograph at 1Million so I'm sure they get a lot of dancing points which is why they are so clean and detailed

Hurricane was fire too, now there are two versions of it - pre-debut performance video and an actual mv (these two are very different in terms of an actual song so i recommend both).
And having 2 professional dancers in the group just adds extra value to the group, because they can surely speak up about choeography and how to do be sharp or smooth in the right part of the choreo!

29:07 I reckon this is because those hi-hats (spelling?) are often hitting the "e" and "a" in 8-count timing/quarter beats, "one-e-and-a-two-", so you hear them and expect to see something in the choreo which accentuates those specific beats, and house (and afaik litefeet) footwork is great for that tempo. Using those steps additionally, in my experience, has the added benefit (in house at least) of often being easier to breathe through while singing and especially rapping than say, popping or krump moves which often obligatorily* use the whole body; try doing heel-toes like that with a nice groove in the legs while keeping your torso still (for sake of example) and talk, if you're doing them right it's shockingly easy to speak comfortably. *In house it is absolutely the case you make use of your upper body, but in the context of a choreo that's mixing styles and also has to accomodate singing it's reasonable that the full-body groove, or "jack", could be kept to the legs for footwork and leave the torso free. In contrast, removing movements from the torso in other styles common in kpop may more noticeably miss hits or mess with musicality; I don't often notice if someone's missing a jack with their footwork while rapping, I always notice if someone doesn't hit a chest iso.
