    Hello Sir,
    Could you please guide me about table 188.2 (which you have showed in this video) of beam 188 . I am unable to find it on ANSYS website as you mentioned in video with the HELP option

      Search for BEAM188 element discription then scroll down to Table 188.2: BEAM188 item and sequence number

    Sir sometimes I will get error messages like..
    Both solid models and finite element model boundary conditions have been applied to this model...... So on
    And I won't get SFD and BMD in correct shape..
    Can u help me to solve this

      There May be chances of wrong boundry conditions applied.
      Apply accordig to supports

    what if the cross section information is nor given and the moment of inertia is given instead??

      I=1/12bh^3 b-width, h-height

      @@nivruttipatil8013 still I can not get the height and width if one of them is not given. so does it mean i must need the cross section information rather than the Moment of inertia?

      @@freemanfreed1581 there must be some relationship in b&h i.e. b=h or b=2h etc. to get b&h
