I actually had a box of that Federal League from my distributor and it sat around for about 2 years. Then it finally sold like a month or two ago on my site! Would have been curious to see what was inside.
They might be worthless, but I like these cards. I kept pausing the video to read the backs of the cards, and I have quite a bit of follow up research to do now. This will be a repeat watch for sure 🤓
Has your distributor given any info about 2022 Topps? Wondering how quickly Fanatics will move to cut them out of the loop. From what I understand the distributors are the ones getting the biggest chunk from higher wax prices, can’t imagine Fanatics will allow that to continue.
My distributor doesn't really keep any of their customers updated on developments. If you're referring to allocation, I think I'm going to get one box of hobby and one box of jumbo (whee!). The thing about a product like flagship Topps is that it is probably the most printed product in the entire sports card industry, so there will be a flood of it in the early goings and many smaller distributors who've been allocated a fair bit of it will want to turn it around very quickly. This means I can probably pick up cases for 10-15% less than what Blowout sells them for. The only trick is getting it in time for the excitement to still be present -- usually it takes a couple days to get to dealers, then I could order it and get it a week later. I've not tried to sell new releases on Hotcardboard.com because of this 2-3 week delay before I could get quantities of product, but I've often thought about it. I could certainly beat Blowout's pricing, but would probably be a touch higher than eBay (counting the fact that you pay tax there), so I'm not sure whether I could sell much. If a bunch of tell me they want to be 2022 Topps from me, I'll certainly give it a whirl and see what happens.
@@ASMRSports Here to say that I, along with quite a few people I know, would be keen to purchase from you as a method of support, in sacrifice of timing. Keep doing what you do!
Dying to know your thoughts on this -- have you seen the Logan Paul video of buying a Pokemon case for $3.5 million? BBCE authenticated the box and it turned out to be fake, they even found out in person along with him.
Do more on the new channel, love the videos as always
I love the historical cards nice to change up the content!
I actually really like the Historic Autographs company. The Federal League baseball cards they made and the written word cards were super cool

“And then their babies die, okay here we go.”
Do these cards have any value ?? A serious question

That Brandeis is numbered to 150, kind of a weird way of numbering tho.
Some of these aren’t American but hey ho
Hah! I think they should have called it "Famous in America" or something like that, to cover their bases.
@@ASMRSports still an awesome video - just made me chuckle when Chaplin showed up 😂
