I Didn't Mean To Haunt You, the album, drops 11/11. Peep any of my social media for the tracklist and cover art I just announced!!!! It is going to be insane
I mean it's kinda the whole point of the song. He's telling crappy and somewhat sad knock-knock jokes throughout the song as a way to reflect on his sad and crappy life. He feels as if his life was a joke.
You can really tell his last two singles are a labor of pure love and passion for music. It has that quality of sounding like it's been made with intense care and an insane amount of thought behind it. I can't wait for the album.
@Sosa Here is my honest opinion. Your voice sounds like it's recorded on a toaster and you should stop spamming every comment to listen to your "music"
I think ever since FMTY, his music felt like that. He really is one of my new favourite artists because of how clearly dedicated and passionate he is about his craft.
@Ka7ana bruh nah im sorry but that's just objectively false, and yes i said objectively because your statement is clearly not true stop spreading misinformation please. respectfully 😇quad rn is the best he has ever been
Man I listened to it yesterday on the way back from work. When I got home and "Fantasy World" was playing I legit cried. I never cry. It's just a wonderful musical experience.
So grateful to have witnessed Quads growth over the past couple years, its clear he works hard to create his own world with his music and he really showed us that with From me to you, And I have a feeling he's gonna take it up a level with I didn't mean to haunt you.
I am confident in this music vid Theory: Could it be that this story is partially about quad, or the protagonist having ended their life to to have the spotlight put on them, so that people would see his art or the metaphor used: laugh at his jokes. But this only caused the spotlight to shine on him with a sad cold light as people only mourned him instead of laughing at his jokes/ seeing his art for what it was. The spotlight remains on him, but for the wrong reason, and now he can't escape it and no one will remember him for what he wanted them to. He begs those by his grave to laugh, still as a metaphor for soaking in his art, but no one does. He becomes desperate and regrets the tactic to end life to gain prestige or become a famous artist. He tries to feel for a key on the other side of life, or even of the coffin that's become his grave, in order to return to the world to correct his image, but to no avail. He turns to hide from the mourning, sad spotlight but he can't. Even being dragged back into the spotlight in the clip in the last part of the music vid. I think the message this song is meant to send is to talk about the myth that if an artist dies they'll finally be highly regarded and people will finally try to look deeper into their art for explanations, but in reality the sadness the spotlight brings outshines everything else, and you will more be remembered for your death than your art. That's my take anyways. Try watching the music vid again with this in mind.
Actually the myth is correct in certain cases. There was a guy who was very popular in our country, his art gets recognition from people and he got his titles after he died.
The classical influence he throws into his music is so sick. the chord progression at the ending of the song sounds like something you’d hear in an orchestra
Serious question, Incredible? Is Quadeca charting? Selling tons of Albums? Is he signed or Independent? Just want to know, cause he used to be dope in my eyes.
@@neverfeartruth6460 not charting or selling, he's signed to some label I don't remember which, I'm just saying the uniqueness and vision in his music has increased

I used to do ketamine therapy for severe depression (I had to stop because my health insurance stopped covering it), when I was under the effects of the drug this was one of my favorite songs to listen to. Just hearing the distorted guitar in the beginning takes me back to the feeling I would get listening to this song while tripping on ketamine. I’m taking another antidepressant now that works just as well and tbh it’s probably better for me that I stopped but I can’t say I’ve ever experienced anything quite like listening to this song while high.
Its crazy to me how this is the same guy who played fifa and styles of rap. I've been watching Quad since 2018, and I am so proud to see how far he's gone musically. This dude is EVOLVING.

Idk why but I still kinda like the rapping better, vm is always holding a place in my heart, and this album won't change that... I wonder if he actually did beamin 2 with quackity
This song hits me very hard. I recently found out some people who were my friends actually didn't even like me and thought I was a joke. This song describes everything I felt when I found out the truth.
At 4:18 he starts to dance like he did at the same type of apex in Sisyphus, which lots of people made fun of. It fits the lyrics of "Funny the joke is on me, I tried hard not to miss it". My guy is a genius.
This music is the definition to how it feels when you're the funny friends no one worried about, but you're depressed, thinking of doing the worst... That was me a year ago. Im doing fully alright now, but if you're out there... Life is worth living, I swear ! I had to be on a hospital bed to realised that I didn't wanted to die... just wanted the wrong people to care.
there's something otherworldly, twisted and sinister layering the obvious pain and sadness behind this song. unsettling, and yet so captivating. IK every song on that album about to be quality. damm, Benjamin.

@Sosa relentless go hard, off the jump the beat and production are top tier, your lyrics match the flow and pace of the song extremely well, only grip I have is you sound a little too off, like your lyrics match the song, but your pitch and how you deliver the lines makes you sound a little monotone, kinda like a robot and throws me off a bit, but other than that 10/10 song. Pretty much the same things I have to say about doozy and convict. Your production, or whoever’s produces your beats, fucking murdered every single one, each one has replay value, just blending your voice in better is the only thing I can complain about. You’re Fuxkin talented man. Great tracks all around

Quadeca is the only man who could make me cry twice in a span of a month, literally incredible, you bet your ass I'm gonna be patiently awaiting for this masterpiece of an album
I love how this song is so different from Born Yesterday but the instrumentation is so cohesive. I can’t wait to see how the whole album builds and explores this sound more.
to be honest: i wasn’t a big fan of his first album. The second album was better but it didn’t quite made it’s uniqueness stand out, but those first two singles right here are absolutely genius. This is such a beautiful sound palette and it makes you connect to the music to a nearly uncomfortable level. Holding back my tears , this is beautiful, much love and respect for this development
i loved voice memos but when i go back to some of the songs i’m like “how tf did i enjoy this so much” still a few on there that were solid, but once sisyphus dropped i knew exactly why he took so much time away
Every artist grows/evolves as they continue to create. And why it’s important to experiment w different sounds etc and keep what you like drop what you don’t and blend them into what you feel like is you. I like both those albums, but you can also see his music continues to improve And music/other art forms are completely subjective so I get where you’re coming from
You don't understand how I feel listening to this, if the whole album is like this and Born Yesterday you have finally created the type of music I've been looking for for a long time, something that could be the soundtrack to my thoughts
I think the video is how rapping gave him the spotlight, which he liked at first, but then tries to run away from it, but always keeping the microphone, showing his love for music

I’m currently up late trying to find music that sounds like this. My HORIZON HAS BEEN EXPANDED 🕴🏿

to be honest: i wasn’t a big fan of his first album.
I agree. His early work was very mid, and he didn't peak my interest until Sisyphus. This is amazing
i loved voice memos but when i go back to some of the songs i’m like “how tf did i enjoy this so much” still a few on there that were solid, but once sisyphus dropped i knew exactly why he took so much time away
Every artist grows/evolves as they continue to create. And why it’s important to experiment w different sounds etc and keep what you like drop what you don’t and blend them into what you feel like is you.
I like both those albums, but you can also see his music continues to improve
And music/other art forms are completely subjective so I get where you’re coming from
Nut nut
by first album do you mean out of order or voice memos?
Someone I was in love with passed away 2 months ago and I can tell this album is going to rip me apart but I trust it will be needed
i just can already tell it will speak to me on a whole other level
Ive been listening to quadeca for a while now, and it seems to just get better and better. Excited to see whats to come :)
This is amazing, its the kind of art the world needs today, and that is sorely lacking in mainstream society, at historical levels.
I would love to play this album when it releases on my campus’s radio broadcast. It is a very sonically pleasing experience
