How do you finished the tail ends of the decorative thread when the design is finished? Do you bury them like you do the couching thread or some other way? Love the look of the decorative threads. Thanks for inventive work!
...you could if the yarn/thread is thick enough...the thinner the decorative yarn/thread...you need to use the zig zag or the decorative thread will split.
I presently use a Bernina Ruler Foot #72 on my Bernina 820. The adapter I had to connect the Westalee foot didn't work correctly. I am interested in the Decorative Ruler Foot (the video was amazing and looks like fun) but don't know what size shank will fit my Bernina 820? What do you recommend? I still have the adapter from when I tried to use the Westalee ruler foot, but am hesitant to purchase if it will give same issues as before. ( I had to decrease the pressure foot scale to a negative 25 to get it to work.)
So talented. Now another avenue to pursue with quilting. This is amazing.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you.
Salve ma come mai quando faccio il libero movimento mi si rompe sempre il filo?Grazie.
Will this work on Brother Quattro 2?
Also what is a good size for top thread for quilting design.

Linda Martindale Yes, you have to bury them, tedious but necessary
...could we cut the decorative yarn/thread, then backtrack and sew it back over a previous couched area?
@@DH-qz2so Try it on an odd bit and see if it works. Borrowed my foot to a friend for a workshop so can't try it myself, sorry!
bellissimo lavoro, brava
POSTED YOUR COOL PRODUCT DEMO TO MY FACEBOOK PAGE. :-)
Thank you for making the rulers. I need to know will they work with my 3.0 Phaff. If so what foot do I need to buy.
Michelle Powar I have the same machine, tried it very carefully and yes, the short shank works
Oops, the foot is a low shank free motion foot, I like the one Westalee uses in this video!
Can you use this with just a straight stitch machine?
