Got the 20th anniversary edition Agent last year with the intention of it just being a change of pace board and to help me casually work on my freestyle game, but then it quickly became my daily. So much fun. Great pop and butter-ability but still lets me charge when needed.
Flex was changed from 5 to 6 with the 2024 version with core adjustments (from stomp core to pop core). Until 23 with the 20th anniversary version it was quite easier to butter around.
Had a proform from Rome for many years. I’d always buy 3 because they’d be blown out by May. 1 for early season, 2 for January-march, and I’d save the last one for march-June. Great riding snoborts, just not the most durable. Been riding since ‘91 and have now been on the same Academy graduate and team/hybrid for 3 seasons. I don’t know why Avran LeBeaver doesn’t give Academy the respect they deserve…he despises Never Summer for whatever reason…and I don’t disagree that Never Summer is a pride month🌈snobort for all of the Colorado transplants, but Academy is the real deal. And Chad O. Deserves to be in ANY real riders top 5.
Ya I’ve realized that people just like bigger boards for that stability. I’m 200lbs, never rode anything bigger than a 158w, but I have people telling me all the time that I need a board over 161 minimum
i weigh 165 and ride a 160. size is subjective to your riding style, strength, terrain, the board in question and much more than just height or weight. then you realize it's actually about effective edge length. meaning a 153 in one make/model might have the same effective edge as a 160 in a board with low effective edge length.
Use case and intended use of the board plays a major role. A 157 park board is way different than a 157 freeride board. Also, width beneath the feet is super important too. A tall, skinny dude, 6 ft and 160 lbs with size 10.5 boots, has a much easier time getting a 160 cm board on edge than a 180 lbs dude with 8.5 boots on the same board. There's way more to picking the right size for you than simply board length and weight. I'm 5' 10", 170 lbs, size 9 boot and the smallest board I generally ride 157 and regularly ride boards over 162
Im 165lbs and ride 158 and 160 lib tech decks. In Europe we tend to ride longer than in the US as we can charge harder here without worrying about ski patrols
I'm deff a Rome fanboy so I love seeing the Rome reviews.
Sameeee

I've had the same Rome Manual since 2012, you must ride hard as hell dude! Get after it!
@@Mvllon I still have my 2014 artifact rocker. Base is beat to hell but still rides just fine, especially for rails and rocks
I am sorry but how’s it possible that u are 160lbs and u ride 157 isn’t too big for you
