    Why do you move your fingers after every shot on your left hand?

    After Filming update:
    We were able to fix the issue with the hard trigger break in our G43x trigger. First we tried to polish the trigger bar and got no improvement. So we then bought a new trigger bar that was already polished and the trigger break finally smoothed out. I am not sure if the trigger bar that came with mine was out of spec or something but she is running like a top now. Averaging about a 3-4 inch group at 15 yards just a hair low from center bullseye.

      yes It came with a bad trigger bar. I replaced with a new OEM trigger bar and the had brake went away.

    Good Video. Just curious why do you keep "re-gripping" between shots with your left hand/ fingers? Is it because the overall grip is too small for your hands?

    • @tacticaltuner4217
      @tacticaltuner4217  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya I have big hands and it take me a bit to figure out my grip with them. This was actually my first shots with it so I was just figuring it out. Later in the day I wasn’t doing it as I figure out my grip with this particular pistol.

    Good video but I have to ask why do your fingers (grip) flop around after every shot (view at 10:48)????

      Poor grip on the weapon. There's no reason to reset your hands after each shot, especially on such a small gun. Very bad habit to have.

    Owner of a G43X as well, Although I did shoot the gun very well and accurate out of the box, I upgraded a little the trigger part with Vicker's Tactical flat trigger shoe, a Ghost Edge connector (smoother, no hard wall yet it bears the stock 33564 OEM which is definitely better than the old 33215) because I wanted more accurate fast followed up bullets (ammunition 114gr) and that's that, no springs, and I'm very glad to say, it did the job!

    My P365 jammed 4 times while trying to eject spent shells last time I took it out to shoot, it had three miss fires as well, what could be a cause to this because apparently the sloped firing pin is an improvement?????

    I was trying to decide between this and the 48, but the 48 would make my 19 obsolete and the point of getting one is for conceal carry. I decided to go w the 43x w the silver finish, which i actually like. I also saw i can get a 48 slide and use it on the 43x frame anyway. Im picking up my 19x this week after the waiting period

    The Glock 43x is my off duty carry. But some people keep talking about changing the trigger and so on. I watch a lot of vids and people who change out after market parts and it malfunctions. I don’t know about you but if I have to use it. I want it to work. So people please take that into account

    • @tacticaltuner4217
      @tacticaltuner4217  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have owned 10 Glock’s and have done trigger jobs to them all. If it is done correctly it is just as reliable as a stock setup. I have put 30,000 rounds plus throw them with not one malfunction cause by the work on the trigger. Competition shooters do the same and would not risk a championship do to a cheap trigger job. Most people that have malfunction are because they don’t know what they are doing. It is very easy to jack up a clock if your not careful. If done correctly they are very reliable. Thanks for watching bud! Be safe out there.

    On my 43x I was lucky I guess. Works great compact 10+1. I have send to carry the Glock 23 to me for years that was compact. But wow the 43x so much ch better. Fits great in my hand. One thing. I had to retain my pull out of holster. It is smaller and my hand was trained on the 23. So that’s the only down side to retrain my hand. I wish it can with 3 mags .

    8 lb trigger? Mine was 5.9 out the box. Cleaned it and it was 5.5 lbs. Put 200 rounds through it, cleaned it again and now it’s holding average of 5.1 lbs. Break is clean with minimal creep, reset is crisp. I’m keeping this trigger as it is perfect for a carry gun.

      TacticalTuner Oh I enjoyed it. I’m in the process of making a video now. I also bought the Sig P365XL the day before I got the G43X. I love both of them! Will hit the range hopefully Monday. Gotta work again tomorrow.

    Funny that it is supposed to be Gen 5 barrel riffing and more accurate on G43X but G43beats it. I have to still go to shoot my G43X

    I couldnt keep up with which one you werr shooting because you were mistakenly saying one and it was the other.
    I own a G43X and my brother owns a G43.I can shoot better with G43X much better than with G43 and I think it's because of the G43X longer handle.
    I do think the G48 might be a better choice for me to conceal carry.Thank for the video.I do plan of upgrading the trigger on my G43X like you did.

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not with a G48 barrel almost an inch longer. Just spec it out, or better yet, holster it. You WILL notice the difference.

    • @TexasTrained
      @TexasTrained 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ I carry the 43x G48 and a a recently purchased a G42.
      The extra inch on the G48 does not bother me one bit more then my G43X .
      The only significant differences is the Weight difference of a smaller G42 in 380 cal.Its smaller frame and weight makes it much less noticeable carrying it concealed all day long .
      That extra inch on the G48 may bother you, but it does not me.

    Also, in your video on the Sig p three-sixty- five you said Glock had the same problems as the Sig. Glock has never had broken firing pin problems and/or broken trigger spring problems. The problems they did have on the forty-three were magazine problems and very few of those. When they had a problem, they fixed it and that was the end of it. Sigs problems have dragged on for over a year now. That's what you get when you have very poor quality control and have the public do your testing for you. Then lie about it. As far as aftermarket triggers for the forty-three X, I don't think you should be pushing them. They often break and/or make the pistol unreliable. The forty-three X has a good trigger, you are probably just used to the spongy trigger on the Sig.

    Why do you always flick your fingers on the hand stabilizing the gun? Natural reaction, or is that technique? I’m fairly new to firearms

    • @gylfearisen8420
      @gylfearisen8420 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It may be getting a solid grip after firing. These subcompacts are really small and difficult to get a good grip for ppl with larger hands. They tend to kick a bit more bc the weapon is so small there is nowhere else for the recoil to go
      That or just a thing he does, we all have our quirks, but i really think hes correcting his grip esp if his hands were getting sweaty

      @colt45peacemaker 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@terry262655
      That the trigger is modified to go off easier and faster. They will call it a " Hair trigger" like the old gunfighter movies and that you planned on shooting the person anyway by making your gun deadlier than a regular gun. Or shooting the person that came at your family with a knife and you shoot him in the face 14 times. Doesn't look good to a jury.
      Like showing up to court for fighting a speeding ticket and you drive a modified Ferrari race car and tell the jury you don't speed.
