How to Build a Small On30 Layout // Big Pine Mine

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 3 ต.ค. 2024
- The complete start-to-finish build of a small On30 train layout. This layout is only about 25” by 28” in size when measured to the farthest points that the scenery sticks out from the somewhat smaller base. A small layout like this is a great way to test out some new techniques or try out a scale or gauge you don’t normally do without having to spend a lot of money or effort.

Thanks!
Wow, thank you so much!
Steve ... I watched that entire video 🫵🏾
Nice job👍👍👍👍👍.
Greetings Gert
Steve, what is the loco for the on30 tabletop layout? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
It is a Bachmann gas mechanical like this: www.trainz.com/products/bachmann-25862-on30-colorado-mining-co-0-4-0-side-rod-gas-mechanical-loco-18-ln-box
Steve,
What is on30? Where is this type of scale in comparison to the others like O, HO & N-Scale? I've never heard of on30 before, in fact I haven't seen any videos either.
On30 is O scale that runs on HO scale track. It represents the narrow gauge railroads that were common at one time across many mountain areas of the country at one time.
Micro-Layout Table for Model Railroad Base - 25"x21.5" Oval is sold out :(
I’m sure he will be making more as fast as he can.
@@StevesTrains ah and he only delivers to US, gonna :( again - no matter, I loved your video!
Is this starting to feel like a full-time job yet? LOL.
Plop plop I’m pooping to this 🎉
Hey Steve if you wondering why I unsubscribe it's because I don't believe in the member only vieos sorry i do really enjoy your videos
I understand that. Mostly it is just early access to videos. The videos show up for members first and then go to the main channel. I have a video every Tuesday but sometimes have them scheduled out several weeks in advance. The other members only content is what I’m working on for future videos, basically stuff that isn’t in a video yet but will be eventually. Adsense revenue per 1,000 views declines over time so you have to keep increasing views just to stay even. It is a hard slog to come out ahead monetarily on the videos so I’m seeing if I can offset some of the video expenses with the member contributions. If that doesn’t work I plan to just cut back to probably one video per month or so in order to not dig a hole with the channel.
