Unbelievable! Opening a Digimon Digi-Battle Series 1 Booster Box

- Digimon Digi-Battle, my all-time favorite card game ever since I was a child.. And today, we make a childhood dream come true, as we open an entire Digimon Digi-Battle Series 1 booster box!
Both Digimon Digi-Battle series 1 and 2 come with a total of 54 different cards each, consisting of tons of cool Digimon you know and love!
Amongst those 54 cards per set, there is 3 holo cards as well as 3 gold letter cards, making them look even cooler!
Note: The Digimon Digi-Battle series 1 box we open in this video is the European version. This EU version has some differences compared to the US counterpart.
European boxes never came with any seal wrapping around the box for instance, and the packs inside all have a long crimp!
Pull rates are also a lot lower, and certain Digimon have a small error to them, the most well known being the 'low resulation' Monochromon card!

I recently ripped around 20 packs. Got a few holo hits and they were super clean. The holos always have some surfacing but I got lucky. They are currently at psa grading 🙌🏽🙌🏽

@user-om8xb9wk9c I got a PSA 10. Got it graded not long ago from this exact box! Unfortunately, I don't plan on selling any of my 10's as I collect them myself.
I love all of the attention you have for the differences in the cards based on region. Definitely things we took for granted as kids.
Oh for sure! Hell, back then I would have never even noticed if something was off due to how bad my English was 😅 but it sure is nice to discover all these small secrets now as an adult!

Depends if you'll be lucky or not, but you can expect to pay up to € 250 depending on the seller
hey, im looking to buy a series 1 digi-battle booster box (36 packs) sealed. Any tips to see if the box is legit or fake? thank you!
Not really, there is no stamp or anything to identify them. Only way to know is by opening the box and packs.
You can weigh them to make sure, as you will definitely get a holo. If there is no holo, it got tampered with for sure!

Such a cool opening. I like how you enjoy all the cards in there. Same for me man ... i also love to open these old packs.
I think the ratio was even right in this one. Normally you should get two gold letter and one holo or two holo and one gold letter ... but this time only one holo. Its really strange but to be honest ... these packs arent worth to get weighed ( only for the money ). The 24 were in the box ... so someone should have weighed all the pack, took two of them and then put another two packs in. Thats also strange for me.
But you got a fantastic holo! I will also open some 1.Edition packs in the next time and also send some of the cards to PSA. They look great in a slap.

Yeah I think something like that might have happened, but I was not too upset. Piedmon is definitely my favourite holo from the set so glad I pulled him!
Any idea on what cards you hope to grade, assuming they're in a pristine condition when you pull them? :)

I think my most favorite card to grade would be Myotismon 1.Edition. But series 1 has so many great cards ...Leomon, Devimon, Ladydevimon, the gold rares and all three holos. I would maybe grade nearly any rare and above. Haha.
Myotismon and Leomon are most likely candidates for my second submission too!
I'd love to get every single one of the cards graded, really.. the artwork is just so damn beautiful!
Also, I might have a spare Piedmon unlimited if you're after one. Seeing as I managed to snag a PSA 10 1st edition, I don't think I'll submit mine anymore :)

Depends on the seller, really. Saw one being sold for € 350 last week. Personally that's a bit much to me, but if it sells for that price, that's around the price nowadays

I got it for a great price! € 200, but of course, as it is unsealed, you risk that the packs are scaled (and looking at my pulls they might have been).
I made the mistake of wearing condom on my hands when unboxing 😂
As long as it wasn't full or lubed, I think you should be okay hahaha
