Since childhood he was very passionate about classical music and song as he was inspired from his Grandpa who was a Music teacher. He followed the guideline of his grandpa and believe his ideology, that a true and honest man would become a good classical singer. Everyday at morning they practiced with his grandpa beneath of the Banayan tree, playing veena , corrected his mistake from grandpa. Continuous practice and his good deed improvement was noticed. He build his confidence gradually. During final exam he performed well and got 1 st in the class. He determined to built his career in Music be a professional Classical singer and fulfill his grandpa dream.
Action - participating in music competition. Utkarsh gupta, a school going student, decided to participate in school's music competition which held after 2 months. So one day he went to intercollege which is situated in his village. He meet principal and asked him that he want to teach music but he don't have music instrument. So he told principal to allow him to teach music to village children in his school ground and also allow him to use school instrument. Principal of school know ram very well because belong to same village. He allow ram to use school instrument. And after that some school children and other children of village start attending the ram class after school in evening. And some of children also perform music in village ramleela and school competitions and everybody appreciates ram effort. Ram also feel satisfied that he able to pass his KNOWLEDGE of art to next generation of village.

So he approached Ustad Shankar,well known for his mastery in Classical music.Ustad Shankar supported his ambition to learn Music.He began to give classes to Ravi and taught him about various Indian Classical Instruments like Sitar,Flute and ghatam.
