It's always interesting to me how playing a certain instrument immediately makes a song sound more like something from the culture the _instrument_ stems from
That mostly because the music made by certain cultures tend to feature said instruments more heavily, but there is also an effect of how the limitations of each instrument bring forth adaptations that change how the song sounds, which due to typically being associated with a specific instrument circle back around to being heavily featured in the culture it comes from. Man, music is amazing.
I guess it's because it focuses more on the instrument itself and not the harmony of blending multiple instruments together. Nearly all instruments have the capacity to make the same range of notes like any other. There's always more than one way to play the same song.
Undertale has a great soundtrack. It's even better if you're invested in the game, but if you have no interest in playing it you still should check a few songs like Hopes and Dreams, Home, His Theme, It's raining somewhere else, and Heartache. You can also find some amazing covers of them on youtube.
One of the coolest things about the prospect of time travel to me is the idea of seeing if modern music stylings would resonate at all with people of the past or not.
