About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

For those who don’t understand the ending of Disabled, Hurry is a Cyndaquil from the Lost Silver creepypasta that died after using the flash move, when Hurry appears in Lost Silver it is accompanied by the L, E, A, V, and E Unowns. This is why in the mod one of the things you need to type in Monochrome is “LEAVE HURRY”
It is and it happened when Gold not die before Lost Silver happened. At the end of DISABLED creepypasta, Gold accepted the trade of Pokemon that he traded his Cyndaquil (Hurry as its name) to get Wigglytuff (DISABLED) for the girl player who has haunted enough of horror things from DISABLED. And we still dont know what Gold did or what happened to Wigglytuff after he got it (But on a theory, he could use his Celebi to teach Wigglytuff can be able to sing)

The Community Response to Pasta Night is honestly kinda Bitter Sweet. A lot of are of MX being sad that Lord X, Hypno, and Squidward being gone has been coming up and it's really sad. Although I do think it's sweet that FNF has come so far to the point where people are depicting completely unrelated characters as friends and it's one of the only things that keeping me going with the community. Honestly I'm hoping that as the community grows we could get another moment similar to Pasta Night where crossovers between different mods/characters bring the community together.
MX and LX are pretty similar if you ask me, considering their fan games are pretty alike

A thing I noticed in Amusia was that the Wigglytuff was missing every note during the song. Which I found to be a every cool detail.

The reason Shinto isn’t supposed to be caught is cause the developers made it so you couldn’t catch her without using cheats. It was supposed to be impossible

Fun fact: hypno might be female, according to the pokedex, the visual difference between a female and male hypno is the male has its white fluff seeming like it was freshly and evenly cut, the female's white fluff looks messy and slightly un-cared for, which our main hypno has that white messy fluff

Thing with Shinto is that something (probably the laziness and incompetence of the devs) made her unbeatable in the game. You literally cannot win against her. The name of the second song, Shitno, is actually a nickname that the in-universe community around the bootleg game came up with for Shinto outta frustration.
And that's why Gray catching her was a problem. By catching her, he won the encounter than cannot be won. Thus, in her eyes, he clearly must've been cheating.
good theory but i think the soul of the kid was actually a girl who was put in the shinto code to make her unbeatable that´s why she transforms into some monster to kill the player, maybe she does'nt wanted to be captured to be not a pokemon for a normal trainer and lose her liberty

There's a storyboard of a planned cutscene on how Pico met jigglypuff that was posted on twitter. Basically before the events of Safety Lullaby, Pico got sent by Daddy Dearest to hunt down BF. He goes to the same place in Safety Lullaby, he notices Hypno's hand popping out behind a tree and quickly tries to reach his gun in his pocket but realizes it disappeared. He got scared and looked around, he noticed the pokemon center and quickly went inside. And that's how he met Jigglypuff. And fun fact: you can actually see a drawing of Pico and a arrow besides the door of the pokemon center in safety lullaby

Correction for death toll: Boyfriend is not being transported to the game, but it is the same in the creepypasta, where he appeared in the game in place of the usual player character. You can actually see his reflection from shock of what just happened in the game at the end.
I think the reflection is more to show us that they took his soul since we can see that bf is drooling.

I've always loved the sly reference to lost silver at the end of the disabled creepypasta. By far one of my favorites, only to be topped by strangled red. Such a great mod with so many perfect representations of the original content
Purin's game over does have sound thanks to some modders and "leaks"
The overall game over would play a messed up version of the Pokemon Center theme from earlier pokemon games. Choosing to quit would stop the music as the corpse rises (which makes it even more horrifying) and Pico pulls a screamer when the hyper realistic face slams into the screen

Time to explain the lore behind DeathToll because nobody seems to understand:
(TL;DR: Girl gets a Pokémon from a mysterious creep, Pokémon gets her to sell her soul and she faces the consequences.)
Basically this girl played her brother's copy of Pokémon Diamond/Pearl. She traded for an item and got a Bronzong nicknamed HellBell with all stats being 666. So the girl tried to rename the Pokémon, put it in the Pc, anything. But nothing worked, everytime she tried to do anything with it that rids of it or renames it, it told her to bring it back to its owner. So she brought HellBell back to its owner, Beezelbub, who couldn't thank her enough and to sign a contract. When the girl tried to put in her Pokémon trainer name, Beezelbub said "Real name, please." So the girl put in her REAL name, as instructed. then Beezelbub told her to breathe into the DS. When she did, Beezelbub said something along the lines of "Your soul belongs to me now" After that, the Pokémon avatar changed from the default male avatar to exactly what the girl looked like. Then the girl suffered horrible curses; the food she ate tasted like ashes and all animals either cowered in fear or ran from her, even her own pet if she had one.
About purin,she IS from a creepypasta called "make it stop",if you will google it up,it will show a big rectangle with a pic of jiglypuff,you will need to ZOOM image (easier on pc) to read it all.

From what I remember, Purin's art wasn't just standalone, but paired with a particular story. It's kinda like that one Tails Doll animation that's technically based on the Tails Doll Curse story but got its own song in the Sonic EXE mod anyway.
For anyone who doesn't know, the song death toll in this mode is based off an actual pokepasta called hell bell. Where a girl gets a copy of ether diamond or platinum and getting a bell shaped pokemon named hell bell. It ends with her forced to sign her name on a contract and the sprite of Dawn she plays as turns into a perfect copy of her, much like you all see in this mode.

My theory on what shinto is has to do with fused kyurem in bw2, it is a special scripted battle where you can't catch the pokemon, so you must defeat it. My theory is that shinto is similar, but extremely unbalanced and op to the point of being impossible to defeat by normal means, and the fight doesn't let you catch them. So most likely a hacked copy just removed that limit, and their new form is some sort of twisted anti-piracy method, which in itself in meta terms is most likely a parody of those piracy videos on this very platform.

Plus when you take it into account that she kills for the sake of Nurse Joy than to be outright malicious (or maybe she's even mindless because of the trauma) makes it even more sad. Nurse joy even tried to push Purin away before falling into her despair. Alas, Purin saw the outcome anyway.

Pasta Night is also a nod to the game series ‘Poker Night at the Inventory’ which is a game where fictional characters from popular franchises from back in the early 2000’s to 2010’s would meet at a bar and play poker together. You the player, show up, and the object of the game is to win the game of poker against the characters at the table while they have witty banter with each other.
Characters included Heavy Weapons Guy, glaDOS, Claptrap, Sam and Max, Strongbad, Techno from Penny Arcade, Ash Williams and Brock Samson

The pokedex entry basically means that if wigglytuff stops singing it starts to die so basically the ponyta was scared because the wigglytuff was a living corpse which is also covering the reason why ponyta ran away from them(I think)
Don't ask me which pokedex entry this was in but I got it from "If pokedex entries were litteral" I think
In the version i heard, (also the one on the wiki) Ponyta actually can't run away due to fear, and instead wigglytuff uses struggle over and over. The trainer tries to flee as well, but "Wigglytuff wants to Fight. You cannot leave the battle." Can't find that pokedex entry for wigglytuff though, most of them talk about wigglytuff being a balloon or how nice its fur is. the closest i could find was this one for Jigglypuff, which says that "when this Pokemon sings, it never pauses to breathe. If it in a battle against a pokemon that does not easily fall asleep, Jigglypuff cannot breathe, endangering its life."

Think in grey's perspective, Grey is a normal sized human in a dark cave which is lit up by the eyes of THAT BIG ASS SHITNO. He doesn't know what's happening he's just playing regular old adventurer catching whatever looks like an animal, he doesn't know it can't be captured, so I'd assume since he was coded in he counts as a cheat towards her.

fun fact: there is an unused animation in purin where jigglypuff puts pico to sleep with a song and then faces towards the player and starts singing, partway through pico's soul comes out and starts singing to stop jigglypuff from putting you to sleep, what i find funny about this is pico is not even remotely aware you exist, he is just very interested in the fight

Classified as an East Asian religion by scholars of religion, its practitioners often regard it as Japan's indigenous religion and as a nature religion. Scholars sometimes call its practitioners Shintoists, although adherents rarely use that term themselves. Shinto has no central authority in control and much diversity exists among practitioners.
A polytheistic and animistic religion, Shinto revolves around supernatural entities called the kami. The kami are believed to inhabit all things, including forces of nature and prominent landscape locations. The kami are worshiped at kamidana household shrines, family shrines, and jinja public shrines. The latter are staffed by priests, known as kannushi, who oversee offerings of food and drink to the specific kami enshrined at that location. This is done to cultivate harmony between humans and kami and to solicit the latter's blessing. Other common rituals include the kagura dances, rites of passage, and seasonal festivals. Public shrines facilitate forms of divination and supply religious objects, such as amulets, to the religion's adherents. Shinto places a major conceptual focus on ensuring purity, largely by cleaning practices such as ritual washing and bathing, especially before worship. Little emphasis is placed on specific moral codes or particular afterlife beliefs, although the dead are deemed capable of becoming kami. The religion has no single creator or specific doctrine, and instead exists in a diverse range of local and regional forms.
Although historians debate at what point it is suitable to refer to Shinto as a distinct religion, kami veneration has been traced back to Japan's Yayoi period (300 BCE to 300 CE). Buddhism entered Japan at the end of the Kofun period (300 to 538 CE) and spread rapidly. Religious syncretization made kami worship and Buddhism functionally inseparable, a process called shinbutsu-shūgō. The kami came to be viewed as part of Buddhist cosmology and were increasingly depicted anthropomorphically. The earliest written tradition regarding kami worship was recorded in the 8th-century Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. In ensuing centuries, shinbutsu-shūgō was adopted by Japan's Imperial household. During the Meiji era (1868 to 1912), Japan's nationalist leadership expelled Buddhist influence from kami worship and formed State Shinto, which some historians regard as the origin of Shinto as a distinct religion. Shrines came under growing government influence, and citizens were encouraged to worship the emperor as a kami. With the formation of the Japanese Empire in the early 20th century, Shinto was exported to other areas of East Asia. Following Japan's defeat in World War II, Shinto was formally separated from the state.
Shinto is primarily found in Japan, where there are around 100,000 public shrines, although practitioners are also found abroad. Numerically, it is Japan's largest religion, the second being Buddhism. Most of the country's population takes part in both Shinto and Buddhist activities, especially festivals, reflecting a common view in Japanese culture that the beliefs and practices of different religions need not be exclusive. Aspects of Shinto have been incorporated into various Japanese new religious movements.

And weird creature that looks like a furby but it itself has no idea what a furby is. It continuously tries to make this kid harm himself but trying to make him play very dangerous games (like jumping out a window and imagining a trampoline at the bottom so you'll bounce back up)

The reference from cyndaquil is from the Lost Silver creepypasta. The lost silver creepypasta is about a boy who buys Pokemon silver, boots it up to find a save file already there. He boots up the sale file to be at the tower, and his profile has 99,999 poke dollars, all 16 gym badges and 99 hours into the game. Look it up on TH-cam it's one of my personal favorites besides hell bell.

Shinto is actually the bootleg form of hypno. If you read the pokedex entry of shitno. She is not supposed to be defeated and can only be captured with cheats that break the difficulty cap, which is how shinto got the name shitno.
I couldn't help but feel bad for cancelled mods. Especially since there's terrible people who did terrible things who made the cancelled mods and said said mods had nod no control over what that kind of people did but got cancelled anyway. I also feel bad for fnf mod directors who actually apologized and fixed their mistakes but got harassed anyway.
