I got into a depressive state again and just picked up my room the other day and it is crazy how much dishes (that were growing mold (unfortunately happens a lot with my depression) but i know how gross it is) and trash was all in my room and how much laundry i have to do and put away

Important room cleaning tips: put your favorite music and also make sure to start with small stuff like cleaning any trash and unimportant stuff, its important that you organize your stuff by piles like clean and dirty, important or unimportant, fit or dont fit, old and new. Remember to take breaks in between switching from room to room. Ask yourself which areas are the dirtiest what are the priorities, if you can clean your room in a day then please focus and dedicate time believe me when you focus on something time goes by quickly and you get more stuff done.
Summary
-play your favorite song
-organize in piles before cleaning
-clean out the small stuff first since the big stuff take the least or most amount of time depending on what it is.
-Focus on your task and give yourself a treat when you successfully completed your task to reward yourself for doing such a great job😘😄
