I don't think her vibrato is excessive, Operataurus. It's not in vogue these days for a singer to have any vibrato at all, so using modern singers as a base I can see why you might feel that, but I respectfully disagree. She does need to apply a bit more effort to hit her notes squarely and not slide up or down to them, but for the most part, I find her singing delightful.
oh katherine, how is it possible to sing like you? how is it done? i wish i had someone nearby me who could sing like this everyday, maybe accompanied by me on piano :')
It's not live unfortunately, leaving plenty of chance to look good - which she certainly does. Katherine relies far too heavily on the magic of the recording studio but they have done a good job here, minimising the wobbly vibrato she naturally has and evening out the registers in her voice.
