Good Years Gone - Short Film - Behind the Scenes

After finishing a project with 30+ people, I was ready to scale back and return to my humble 3-person-projects.
Good Years Gone (originally called Akron's Shadows), was a very collaborative effort. Andrew Kovac wrote, directed, shot, and edited the piece but the story evolved many times on set due to the freedom Joey Aronhalt (Chet) and Dezhawn France (Meek) had on set. Scenes were scripted and had very clear motivations but the dialogue was free-flowing. Sam Michael helped on set with some photography while Tyler Hawes created a beautiful, argumentative, and haunting tune to accompany this story.
