I saw some at Walmart in Halls the last time I went there. It wasn’t in a package like we are used to seeing. Instead it was on a bolt. So you could buy it by the yard or whatever amount you want. Not sure if it was called Warm & Natural but it was the same thing.
oh, you used the word grungy, that's another good one for these & your new ugly snowmen, if you were to sell them on ebay, you could title them as Grungy or as Primitive. ...either way, both are cute & look fun to make.

Paint sticks, vellum, place mats, plastic cutting mats at Dollar Tree works great for stencils or quilt patterns, card board will all work.
