Exploring a 156-Year-Old Abandoned House Frozen in Time This now abandoned home is over 156 years old and was lived in up until 2022 when there was a large flood in the basement, forcing the owners to move out. They eventually sold to a developer. Stay tuned for more over the coming days an head over to take the video tour here:
Its a beautiful home... I hope they restore her. The incubator was for hatching eggs, they probably raised some type of birds or poultry. Angers me that some people feel that they need to steal or damage property that doesn't belong to them. 😢
what a beautiful old family home and it was great to see that a 156 year old home had a lot of world charm glad that the old organ and the old Victrola record player still there and the old radio and the kitchen was huge but a great video and it was nice of the lady to tell her story about the home but a great video Dave looking forward to the next one
Beautiful home. Unfortunately if a developer bought it they will probably tear it down. They don't believe in saving anything now a days. Glad you filmed it.
Thank you for bringing us to the 156 year old beautiful house. Oh boy, if I lived in Canada and had the money, I would absolutely love to buy that house. I love the windows, hardwood floors and especially the clawfoot bathtub.😍 I also thank you for your time and hard work you put into so we can go on your adventures too. You and Exploring with Angelo and Ethan Minnie are so awesome in what you do. Keep up the amazing work you do Dave😎
Wow! Glad to see you went to the house I sent you! You did an amazing job capturing it on video and in pictures. Always loved this house and I figured if I can’t buy it might as well have someone document it haha! Nice work!
Did a bit of searching and looks like that's an incubator from the 1950s for hatching chickens and other birds. This a neat old house. Needs a lot of work but could make a great community center for the new development.
You really can't see any flood damage now. Too bad they couldn't stay and repair the problem at the time. It's always so sad to see some of these beautiful buildings abandoned because of lack maintenance. Where I'm at, it's the roofs leaking that cause a lot of old homes to be destroyed.
This house is beautiful. It would be a shame for a developer to tear it down. How I wish I could afford that china cabinet. I’ve always have loved those covered front glass, it’s gorgeous. Thanks for the video. Did you ever find out what the developers plans are for the house?
the cabinet in the one big room has all three glass curved. My mother has the same thing. They are worth a pretty penny. you may want to clue the lady in so she may choose to retrieve it.
Watching from Australia 🇦🇺. Beautiful place, I particularly like the brick walls and the wallpaper with the houses on it was pretty neat . Thanks for sharing 😊.
Big House It has that tired, but cared for lived in feel. I wouldn’t think it’s copper thieves, they will go after the wire, since it’s easier to get and worth more. Also, a house like this would either have lead or galvanized piping, no copper unless it has updates, which it doesn’t look like it does.
Haha, don't worry about the music remark! Everyone has different tastes. I'm just glad you still find my explores great. Maybe I'll switch up the music next time and surprise you!
I hope someone follows up on this. It seems so wrong to leave the china cabinet, phonograph, and organ in the house if it's going to be demolished ! Surely that phonograph is a special antique.
This is a BEAUTIFUL home!! Are the things that are left belonging to the woman you spoke to?! If so, why didn't they take them?! It is sad to hear about the flood. ❤❤ Glad that you are respectful .....well....after the whole sitting on the toilet thing..😂😂😂 sorry, sorry...too soon?! 😂😂😂
To many abandoned houses left to rot some one should but them fix what needs to be fixed and resale them. What I don't get is these mansions that cost millions and just left same thing some one or company fix them and resale them. The developer better not tear this house down what society does not need is another eye sore apartment building, grocery store, strip mall or another subdivision. Bring this house back to it's former glory I think it's more than worth it, Know how many people would give there left arm for a house like this but it's financially out of there range. Just saying houses in the last 35 years nothing nut cheap particle board thin and cost over 3hundred thousand $$ and there not worth it. These old houses where built to last. This house has a boiler in the basement because the rad's in each room so it's warmed buy water boiler heat less expensive than electricity and the house most likely has a oil tank.
Liked the blue tiles in the bathroom and the glass doorknobs on a few doors. Didn't care for the music throughout the video, however. It was repetitive and distracting.
I would love to live in a home like this, it is spectacular, can you imagine what this house looked like in the day's gone by. Big basement but still very creepy. Whoever bought the land would redo this house and make it a museum.

16:37 looked like an orb coming up from the record player

My thoughts exactly
Can someone tell me why back then did they build the rooms sooo large ? Just think how much smaller our rooms are today!

I just added the photo gallery to my website: freaktography.com/exploring-156-year-old-abandoned-house-frozen-in-time/
Where is this located? Is there an address you can share?
