I was never too keen on an animated HP series (not against it either mind you) but seeing these character models really made me see the potential for an animated series! I hope it’ll become a reality at some point!

@@RetroRaconteur; well, you should've mentioned to AI that Charlie Weasley is like a Magi-zoologist that way they'd at least have put a shirt on him, because technically that is what he is, it would not matter if he works with dragons or some other magical creature, that still makes him a Magi-zoologist.

In this video, Luna looks almost exactly how I pictured her when I first started OotP, back at its release in 2003, when I was only 7 (although this Luna art is in the style of 3D animation, unlike my mental image of her, of course).
The beginning of that book and the first two movies were my entry into the fandom.
I still happen to have that exact First Edition copy of Order of the Phoenix to this very day!

Now see I felt like Luna was more how I pictured her but Neville I cant picture away from the movies. Luna in one part harry sees a pic of her and it says she was cleaner and neater dressed than he had ever seen her. It was a pic with her and her mom. I always took that as Dad didnt know how to help her with her hair and maybe wasn’t as good with household tasks. So I did kind of picture her a little dirty and disheveled

@@tgiacin435 I know but I saw the movies before reading the books so I have a hard time picturing Neville or Seamus as they describe them. I dont imagine the actors for all of them. Especially the trio but for some reason I cant picture them.

The McGonagall render reminds me of Mei-mei's mom from Turning Red, but in fully colored art, like they do when they've made their final design.

The first Aunt Petunia was death inducing; it is only by the grace of God above that I live to tell you as such.
Anyway, Fleur is so perfect, it's great, and Cedric (he was 17, btw; on his way out from Hogwarts) looks like he saw death, experienced death, and did a whole loop around the plant in the air before teleporting back to school with his robes on. He's freakin' Clark Kent, or Bruce Wayne levels of chiseled...

As a twin, I can tell you there are subtle differences in their faces. Some twins, although identical, will have more differences, and height.

McGonagal looks Asian to me, it's the eyes are a bit too slanted. I thought the HBO series should've been animated. It's much easier to deal with the fantastic things going on and if someone ages, it's no big deal, you can always find someone else to do the voice

It looks like the AI is using pre-made (possibly rejected) art and making small adjustments. With the glitches in description, or "filling in" missing descriptions, it looks as though the artists from this company used HP characters as simple concept exercises years ago, and that's where the AI is drawing examples from.

Unfortunately AI hasn’t advanced that far yet - to be able to give multiple shots of the exact same character and then merge with other characters. I could do some images of them together but it would be them together but it would be the same shots we have already.

The first aunt petunia looked like fricken Momo. I think Percy looked like a better version of Charlie in my opinion. I also thought that Malfoy actually looked like a really good rendition from what I would’ve pictured. Crazy how well this AI is getting.

Cedric Diggory was 16 years old in Harry's third year, in Harry's 4th year the Age limit for the participating Triwizard champion has been bumped to 17 year old students only, so Cedric was supposed to be 17 years old, the year that Voldemort killed him in the Little Hangleton Graveyard.
Should have put the actual ages in the prompts. I can totally imagine Sirius like that as an 18 yo, super entertaining video though 👍

As far as Vernon and Petunia looking younger than you expected, keep in mind that in the books Lily was only 21 when she died. James was about the same. Serius and Lupin, Snape and Pettegrew would have been about 31 when the series starts. So if you figure most siblings are about 2-3 years age difference then Petunia would probably be 33 at the beginning of the books (past the first chapter that is). Her husband would probably be about the same age or within a coupe years. We forget that they aged up the characters significantly with the actors that played them in the movies. Alan Rickman was great but I think he was almost 70.
Also I really liked the Draco, Serius and Bill ones. Serius and Bill didnt look like a Pixar character but they looked good. Draco did look like a Pixar villain. It was great. I would love to see you collaborate with Jazza to have him do a series where you could give input on it and have him do the drawings. It’s just such a fun idea.

The animation for the first 3 main Harry Potter videogames and the Quidditch World Cup game is actually not far off from the art styles of Pixar animation, so this could be quite a fun thing to watch on widescreen.

@@RetroRaconteur; The console games were not the first versions of the main games that I had, I originally had the PC versions of years 1, 2, 3, and 4, but now they don't work very well with the pc I have now, I had to replace them with Console games and I was surprised that the first 3 of the four that I got was completely different and more challenging than the PC versions and I must say, that the first one was almost as challenging as its pc counterpart, the only one that kept to the same challenges was "The Goblet of Fire". But the only one that I could not find for my version of Xbox was "Quidditch World Cup", but I do recall seeing a TH-cam video of this once and I think I remember that it too has the same game rules as its PC counterpart(Just with different control factors). I wish they made all Harry Potter games compatible to the old original Xbox after the 4 releases. I always wonder why they made the Year 3 and Year 6 pc versions a lot easier and Year 7 pt.1 next to impossibly difficult? Was 7 Pt.2 harder than 7 pt. 1?

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! actually did re-do both Neville and Bill, but ending up cutting those portions out bc the video was already so long, haha. The Neville one was surprisingly even worse 😅 The Bill revision was definitely more "Pixar" but didn't really fit for Bill, imo.
