Now that was strange. Watching you deposit those cars one block from my house. The funny thing is I saw all those cars sitting there the other day and thought, hmm, where did those come from.
You just drove across this wonderful country with a priceless Demon on its back with a cracked power booster. Awesome.😂 Brakes, who needs brakes. Love it.
Yeahhhh… in my defense, the brake booster worked fine when I left. Occasionally the power brakes would be gone later in the trip, but then they would come back on the next hit - so obviously I knew something was wrong. The next trip I used it for was Bremerton drag strip with the Demon… and the power brakes were completely gone 😬
We really wanted to move to eastern Washington when we left Snohomish but Jay Inslee, anyway those are some sweet cars, can't wait to see the super bird reassembled

That super bird is awesome! I really like the fuselage imperial too. I really wanted to buy a nice 1971 imperial that was for sale locally last year. I unfortunately don’t have the garage space for any more old mopars. If I did I would probably have way too many.

Also had Dick Landy as well in mopar muscle tell me how to make a 383 dig like a badger. I still have them issues of mopar muscle.

There’s a lot of neat old buildings in Spokane. Next time you’re in town go grab dinner at the steam plant grill..one of the coolest spots in down town
I recall a long ago ( 40 or more years ago? ) magazine (Motor Trend?) article where the author stated that the Superbird and Daytona would become the Duesenbergs of their day. Highly collectible with even reproduction parts being made. You could possibly build a duplicate car, if desired. Too bad I didn't take the article's advice! 😁
Dude, I can’t either. Miracle if miracles basically. I called and asked if they could order it for me and the guy was like “bad news, I can’t order it… good news, I have it on the shelf.” Way to make me crap my pants.
If you like antique buildings, you'll have to check out Chewelah and Colville. I love going to Spokane. The trip is nice, I can get Wendy's and Arby's and Mexican Cokes at Costco.... It reminds me what civilization is all about. People are cool in Spokane, too.

Lol... ...get the fan assembly replaced....and check if theres play on the water pump shaft..maybe r & r the thermostat..flush the cooling system...pressure test the radiator cap...check hoses and belts....it should'nt be getting hot.
It IS rare for an intercooler First Gen. ('91.5-"93) to get hot. The early '89-'91 would, with their smaller radiator. Somr '94-'02 ran too cold. The temp gauge would really move as the coolant cycled through the engine and radiator.

Did you ever try to fix your speedometer? When they're completely dead like that it's almost always the plastic gears in the dash gauge. If it bounces around (at least on the 4wds) it's the little box on the transfer case that converts the mechanical drive to electronic signal.
@DeadDodgeGarage I'd be interested to know what it turns out to be. I doubt it's you're highest priority so WHENEVER that is, I'll stay tuned. I want to know who's right!😊 I'll honorably accept my defeat if it's electrical. SINCE it's 2wd, you have a GOOD chance of being correct on your diagnosis. If it was 4wd. I'd bet on myself.
My 1st Gen 12V threw the fan into radiator as well when I shut it off one day. My problem ended up being a blown trans mount. I replaced the engine mounts as well because the rubber was twisted and deformed. Haven't had an issue since replacing all three. Also had to get a new fan as well since it was mangled from when it became close friends with the radiator. Oh and a new radiator. FUN TIMES!!!
I thought mounts and inspected them months ago, and the morning after this happened. It didn’t appear that the drivetrain had shifted at all, but new mounts are definitely in my plan anyway. I seriously can’t believe it didn’t put any holes in the radiator… it just gave it a little kiss. Thankfully it was an aluminum fan, I’m sure that’s how I got away with it. The radiator has some corrosion and needs to be replaced eventually anyway. But it’s already been an expensive week without that.
@@DeadDodgeGarage I ended up swapping in an aluminum radiator. I feel ya on things being expensive. I have multiple projects myself and it can pile up quickly. Also just breathing nowadays is expensive 😂
The rarest part on that Superbird is the rear window. Totally unobtainium. Actually - that nose is in nearly perfect condition. Wow, what a find! One of the best "barn finds" I've watched lately. Does the 'Bird come with the motor and transmission?
Yeah the nose cone is really, really good - which is shocking, frankly. It came with the numbers 4 speed and an earlier 440. We are planning to source a correct 1970 440 HP.
