grim here. Thanks for the great analysis. about halfway through the game, my buddy dwarvintime started advising me, so that definitely helped. will add more comments later.
Nice job monkeydo. One interesting line is that @7:45 it would have been possible to get all remaining ice cream parlors with a clever cascade of 1-1-2. I wonder if it would have been better.
It's a close tradeoff - I think I'd rather play the Ibex and there isn't enough money for both. If it were me I would have connected to the kiosks much earlier, and I also wouldn't have gotten a 23 move game! So it seemed to work out okay!
Great replay here. Had a 23 turn game of my own today, a fortuitous mix of large animals including double eagle + bears/polar bear exhibit on OA, with Waza special thrown in to boot.
Very early first break often helps your opponent at least as much as it helps you, but it does enable fast wins. Expert on Africa is also great action efficiency, assuming you have enough resources.
Someone must have had a crazy play on Silver Lake like once, like Eagle and hippo into sponsors for break and association for another action then another animals into Eagle and something into another association. Would be a killer move.
1. 10+ 2. Don't go to conventions 3. People and game, people first 4. 90ish minutes 5. More backing now as I never had much before due to discretionary income
It's a fine card, the problem is the 2 science requirement to play it. There's no science in JD's hand, and it's not enough of a good card to take the 2 science uni just to play it.
I would say not really. Not every game is like this, but this is a perfect storm of the ideal cards coming out and then a good player executing a good plan

Excuse me, what about your other friend who was there before dwarwin and totally contributed instead of playing his own game?
Fantastic set of replays! And great Narration too. Happy New Year!
I shall also now call this No Onders, there'll be no W
Haha, no W's for me the last 2-3 days, that's for sure 😂

Nice as always, Sam! Last match I had I ended with two eagles and a sun bear. Pretty ok last turn.

Why is there tokens on the conservations right from the start?
Those spots on the conservation projects are always blocked in 2 player games
was there anything the opponents could have done differently to disrupt those?
