Deep why not to use BMC air Filter as your bike running is very heavy. Use FLO TOOL FILTER FOR PETROL FILLING IT CAN separate water and dust particles instantally makes bike safe Your decision to choose BMW was good as Triumph service and support is like hell even Triumph didn't bother about it

Bmw ho ya koi aur don't ride it through deep water , water will enter into engine your lucky enough that water didn't enter into your engine through intake. If you feel any doubt about engine oil ,change the engine oil because there is still possibility that some amount of water gone inside the engine as you said your filter was wet so to be at safer side change the engine oil thods kharcha badega but you will be on safer side.
