When i was a kid we used to drive by Loftus hall when we spent our summers in wexford, we always visited the hook lighthouse and we would drive by. This house always fascinated me. When i was 16 we were on our way to hook lighthouse for a day trip when we noticed the gates to loftus were open and cars were driving up so we joined the queue of cars we got go the top and it was seemingly an accident that the gates had been left open and the cars were being turned away by the lady of the house as we drove back up the driveway i looked back and saw a woman in victorian dress (black) standing on the roof. I put it down to me just seeing things cos its a creepy place, later that day there is a pub not far from there (cant remember what its called) there is the ruins of an abby across the road from that pub and as i waled the graveyard with my friend we saw a headstone that said a girl died in the bathtub in loftus hall we ran back to get our parents to show them but when we all walked the graveyard (checked every headstone) the headstone was gone? So in 2016 when they were doing tours myself and partner and our kids did a tour of loftus as we were in the room were the daughter died in her chair my youngest was only 11mths old at the time but he and another baby were so freaked out in that room they both kept crying as soon as we walked in and they just didnt want to be in that room

Something similar used to happen me at my grandma's house in Kerry, she had an acre field and in a corner I'd see animal bones and they shouldn't have been there. Like the bones of a cow or horse. Something complleed me to nonchalantly not say anything to my dad. Because I was fascinated by looking at them and dad could throw them away. Went out the following morning to look again, nowhere to be seen. Where they were the grass was flattened in a strange shape now it was tall grass again nothing, that evening I went back they were there again.
I told my dad then and we went over, nothing but tall grass again.
Supposedly her house was built on a leyline or fairy path.
She had a back room that freaked my mum out every time she passed it at night.
Granny said she heard strange noises some nights, like a ladder being dragged along the roof and whispering sounds in the kitchen, dad heard it too.
She had a new fridge and dad said its the fridge as back then fridges made funny noises but turned it off .....
After that she went down to feed her chickens, dad heard the noises again...
My grandfather had died around that time in the early 80's and the night he died the water pump went off it made a vibration noise.... according to my mum they couldn't turn it off for an hour.
My grandmother and Mam came to the conclusion it was my grandfather telling my grandmother to get out of the house...
She eventually went to an old folks home in Kerry.
We sold the house, and anyone who lived in it supposedly had bad luck and passed away from sickness, car accidents and alcoholism.
Ironically myself and my dad gave up drinking in our late 20's .
My grandparents were very simple people, grandfather was a devout Catholic my grandmother was superstitious and very sceptical about the Abrahamic faith and leaned more pagan and into the land air and water spirits.
They live by the banks of the river feale in north Kerry.
My dad remembers as a kid down fishing in the river in the 60's seeing eyeshine, he had no torches back then too expensive.
The eyeshine was around 10 foot tall and not an animal on a high bank or bird in a tree. Because there was no lights to reflect off the eye's. And they blinked. Similarly to the sasquatch or Bigfoot eye shine in Canada and America
After year's of watching documentaries and listening to pod casts I refer the area as a mini Skin walker ranch
There's another part of Clare that's similar where I go fishing sometimes, a lot of strangeness.
I gave up going back there after I seen a UFO type thing and orb's. I reckon they're demons and not from space.
      Hope someone reads this 👍

A quite funny, risible house, I guess. That's what stays with a listener after all your laughs.

Do you not find it funny that the hellfire club dublin has the same story of a fool knocking late and joining a card game and someone looking under the table and seeing hooves must be an old myth

I love " Grave visitations " but their recent ghost videos are so staged.
