- What's up everyone! Today we replace the broken door handle on the sc300, and show you step by step, how to replace it. This install should be the same on the sc400 and Toyota soarer.

The original SC interior door handle can be replaced with a metal LS400 door handle with slight modifications. It's an excellent upgrade.
just wanna add to this video, if anyone is struggling taking off the panel after youve taken the 1 behind the door handle, and 5 around the door, there are 2 more under the arm rest for support i didnt know this and it finally came off.
how did you find and take those out?

any idea what part thats inside the door car that has the two cables with the blue and yellow clips... i broke the blue clip installing speakers and dont know where to find this part lol

My door panels were like that I just used 3 screws along the panel where u grabbed it @7:41. Holds tight now no movement at all. Have you guys considered getting the aluminum ones from LRB?
I haven’t seen those before, would be a good upgrade though.

What do I do if my door won't even open .....
You should manual swap it and make a video on it.
May partner did that and he loves it. Next is mine
Mine doesn’t have the screw inside the door handle but I removed all the other ones and it’s not coming off
same i removed all screws and mine just isn’t coming off
I have a serious problem... My exterior handle isn't working and I just broke the interior handle. Now I can't open my driver side, whatsoever. Any suggestions?
Hmmm... maybe try rolling the window down and see if you can access the inside of the door panel to push down on the rod that opens the door from the outside. Might have to remove the outside window trim to give you more access as well. Good luck!
depending how bad the interior handle is broken you may still be able to use somthing to open it. I have a little piece of plastic that I can still pull on.
Had the same problems, best thing to do is replace the door handle , 30 dollar project

My door won't open from the inside or out and I've tried everything and still can't get it open ....anyone know how to get it open
I've changed out the plastic handles 3 times from passengers and just 3 days ago a mechanic has now broke it a fourth time. Can you do a video on how to change those plastic handles to the metals ones from a LS400? We had thought about doing that before replacing it with another stock handle. Unfortunately we won’t be able to do that mod since luke sold the sc300, but if we decide to pick up another one, we’ll be sure to do the metal handle mod 👍
