The Ciurel Overpass (Pasajul Ciurel) is a road overpass in Bucharest, Romania, connecting Splaiul Independenței Boulevard and Virtutii viaducts, aimed at decongesting traffic in Bucharest Western area.
Construction started in 2010. The overpass was officially inaugurated on 19 September 2020, and was opened to traffic in the same day.
Total length: ~ 1 km
In this video - driving from Basarab Overpass (Pasajul Basarab) to Ciurel Overpass (Pasajul Ciurel) , on Splaiul Independenței Boulevard.
