Have you heard of Mario teaches typing? If not, you're in for a treat. Also look up videos of Charles speaking at conventions. There's also interviews of him doing full sentences like in the great big story video of him.

Idk about Mario, but Charles Martinet voiced full sentences for Wario in Warioware Gold and it sounded really, *really* good. I’m sure he could’ve pulled off something similar with Mario

"Hurry up!" as much smaller phrases like that, which we've seen other nintendo protags like Mario and Link do. Idk if you've ever played WWG, but all of its cutscenes are fully scripted and voiced, and Wario has the most spoken dialogue out of them all. I'd honestly recommend watching like a game movie/silent playthroguh if you can. Basically all he does is talk throughout that game, and I think Charles did an amazing job when he finally had a chance to sink his teeth into a character, and i think he could pull off the same thing for Mario in a movie. And unfortunately I doubt they'd let Charles even *touch* this project, given just how corporate Hollywood all their casting choices are right now, which really sucks.

The games are the only time he sounds Italian every other media had him sounding like he from New York. So if Chris does something different who the fuck cares.
