If you write more than the recommended 180-200 words for the OET Writing sub-test, it may not necessarily affect your score. However: - Exceeding the word limit may lead to: - Reduced coherence and clarity in your writing - Difficulty in conveying your message effectively - Increased likelihood of grammatical and punctuation errors - Examiners will assess your writing based on the assessment criteria, focusing on content, organization, language, and cohesion. There is no direct penalty for exceeding the word limit, but it's crucial to prioritize clarity, coherence, and effective communication within the recommended word limit. To optimize your score, focus on: 1. Clearly addressing the task 2. Organizing your writing logically 3. Using accurate language and grammar 4. Staying within the recommended word limit By doing so, you'll demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in a healthcare setting.
