"Singin The Blues", is a song that I have enjoyed a lot in instrumental (your video today), and I also just heard it in Singing for Cliff a moment ago because I did not know it, it always makes me happy to see your wonderful videos, you are from the best youtubers of The Shadows and Hank. I think the intro of this song is a lot like the intro of Hank Marvin's "Guitar Man" since it's in "G" Key too, and the intro of "Shindig", but Shindig is in "G#", ascending from "A". They are wonderful songs. This one in particular brings a wonderful sound, I like it, great video editing and the wonderful audio, great musical work, regards Angel😊😊😊😉🙏🙏🎸🎸🎸🎸

Steve - It sounds like you have the same problem as I had in 2013. It's called Atrial Fibrillation (AF for short) They restarted my heart but it didn't cure the problem. In the end they put a laser up my arteries into the heart and lasered all the excess electrical nerve endings. I'm fine now but on several tablets to keep it stable. Apparently It's very common . Just taken me back in time again Phil.. Once I branched out from folk and country and western tunes as the basis for instrumentals, this was one of the Shad's tunes I enjoyed learning. Then I moved sideways to learn W.C.Handy's 'St Louis Blues' after hearing it on Jimmy Reed's 1963 12 string instrumental recording. I've sort of stayed in that area of folk/country/jazz area ever since, although since shedding the Taylor 12, I now stick to 6 strings. Love that complex bend and picking down at the 15th and 18th at 1.43+ Once again you made my ageing and increasingly achy fingers twinge in sympathy. Great job.

One of my first records was Singing The Blue by Tommy Steele on a 78 . Have it in attic but also have it on an EP in cupboard . Cliff later as you say on his Reunited album and made it much differently . It`s a great old number Phil and an early favourite from `56 although like Cliff`s one you`ve made it beaty and updated . Still like it and great listen .Got to be top marks all day 15 / 10 .I must upload Tommy`s one soon . Cheers , Roger . .

@@random275 Probably only time in history of charts Phil that Singin` The Blues had 2 artists at No1 .Tommy and Guy Mitchell .I`d say it was my 3 rd record I bought .I was 11 then .You won`t remember as you were a bairn then but best of days when music for the youth started . I saw Cliff & Shadows in Glasgow on their finaL Reunion tour when they did this number . It was originally done by Marty Robbins who did it very country style .Ray Coniff produced Guy Mitchell doing it more pop fashion .Marty was bit miffed as both were signed up to Columbia Records in USA and he was jealous of Guy`s arrangement that Ray did for him . .So on his next record he got Ray to do his arrangement for White Sports Coat and then Story of My Life .Both were covered here by Terry Dene and King Bros for the Sports Coat and Mike Holiday for Story Of My Life and Marty missed out here on both them . Tommy covered Guy`s Singing The Blues but both got a No1 .Bit of history for you .Lol

Hey phill did i mention a couple a days ago that I had been in contact with someone that had corona? I think i did right, but this past Sunday I did it a nodge better and actually tested positive for corona the bloody omnicron variant had my number. Luckily apart from some minor symptoms like headache muscle aches and a sore troath I'm doing fine. Atleast it's good to see that u are giving us another upload so that will help me get trough this quarantine week as of now I got 3 more days left. One of my first records was Singing The Blue by Tommy Steele on a 78 . Have it in attic but also have it on an EP in cupboard . Cliff later as you say on his Reunited album and made it much differently .
It`s a great old number Phil and an early favourite from `56 although like Cliff`s one you`ve made it beaty and updated . Still like it and great listen .Got to be top marks all day 15 / 10 .I must upload Tommy`s one soon .

@@random275 Probably only time in history of charts Phil that Singin` The Blues had 2 artists at No1 .Tommy and Guy Mitchell .I`d say it was my 3 rd record I bought .I was 11 then .You won`t remember as you were a bairn then but best of days when music for the youth started .
I saw Cliff & Shadows in Glasgow on their finaL Reunion tour when they did this number . It was originally done by Marty Robbins who did it very country style .Ray Coniff produced Guy Mitchell doing it more pop fashion .Marty was bit miffed as both were signed up to Columbia Records in USA and he was jealous of Guy`s arrangement that Ray did for him . .So on his next record he got Ray to do his arrangement for White Sports Coat and then Story of My Life .Both were covered here by Terry Dene and King Bros for the Sports Coat and Mike Holiday for Story Of My Life and Marty missed out here on both them . Tommy covered Guy`s Singing The Blues but both got a No1 .Bit of history for you .Lol

Hey phill did i mention a couple a days ago that I had been in contact with someone that had corona?
I think i did right, but this past Sunday I did it a nodge better and actually tested positive for corona the bloody omnicron variant had my number.
Luckily apart from some minor symptoms like headache muscle aches and a sore troath I'm doing fine.
Atleast it's good to see that u are giving us another upload so that will help me get trough this quarantine week as of now I got 3 more days left.
