The little kid is actually Andre Matos, Angra’s first singer who passed away a couple years ago. He left the band in an unfriendly way, and they barely speak to each other until he died. So the creature in the clip represents the entity Angra, and Andre with his flowers is replacing the bad feelings for good ones.
Omg, thats sad! Start with angels cry album and go deeper. This band had so many musicians/vocalist that have complete different vibes! The original guitarrist was Kiko Loureiro(ex Angra, Megadeth)
About Angra, there were another 2 lead singers before Fabio Lione that is the one who sings in this music, and they are Edu Falaschi and Andre Mattos. Both of them made such a brilliant job in this band, they have left their mark and great contribution in the compositions and vocals. Try to listen some of most famous albums from angra like Temple of Shadows, Rebirth or Angels Cry, Holy Land. Both Andre and Edu have their own solo career too, and Fabio Lione was the lead singer on Rhapsody of Fire, another power metal great band.
Love Angra and that's no surprise as Prog Power bands are some of my favorites! Great song and great reaction. I wish you guys did more Power Metal or Prog!!
It's for sure the intro song. Ride into the Storm is actually the music in focus here, while there is a calm vocal intro at the beginning, and that's what Angra normally does in all albums, some simple intro with keyboards and choirs, and then something more aggressive comes covering it.
The music video has many meanings and refers to all albums. The boy, for example, is the representation of the late Andre Matos, who was the lead singer of Angra. There are numerous references in the clip. If you don't know, you might get lost.
The little kid in the video actually represents their first singer, Andre Matos, who passed away few years back, there is a scene that we can read the initials A.M. in the kids backpack
This has to be the opener, “Ride into the Storm” is a reference to the listener starting their journey through the album which explores pain and uncomfortable growth (so akin to facing a storm). They’ve followed this idea in their lyrics in nearly all of their albums since Andre left (when Rafael became the main lyricist). Travelers of Time is a reference to the listener journeying through ideas in their old albums, etc. And composition-wise, they always start their albums with a ~1 minute classical section, then double guitar lead lines, then the song closes with a fast section that doesn’t fully resolve (so you want to go to the next song).
Check out their first album cover to know why the kid gave flowers to that angel. That kid is one of the founders who passed away, and the angel is angra itself, maybe an entity representing death, cause it feels like the boy seals his deeds and pass to the light. The kid also carries a compass rose, which represents their third album Holy Land. One might find the videoclip cliche or awkward, but for long time fans, it is beautiful.
Holy Land is their magnum opus, but it is very different from Omni and Temple of Shadows. It has a lot of brazilian folk music influences, making that one their most original sounding record, imo.
You can check out Angra's Drummer original studio recording session for this song: th-cam.com/video/eKKLNSEt2-c/w-d-xo.html He said he'll release the recorded studio sessions after each song is officially released.
They now have Dennis Ward as their producer again. Dennis said in interviews that this album is gonna give the fans what they have been waiting for a long time. I bet this album will be more like Temple of Shadows.
Calling OMNI the pinnacle of Angra's discography is a little bit much, but I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thoroughly enjoyed it! ❤❤ OMNI. Don't neglect Aurora Consurgens if you like Angra at their heaviest. Or Angels Cry. 🤘🤘 This is supposed to be the second track, after a 47 seconds intro.
About Temple of Shadows, it has many fans, but don't go thinking you'll like it at first listening. It's the type of album that you need to listen many times to start to ignite on you, because there's a lot of layers in it. I see many people saying the Shadow Hunter song is great, but I never managed to understand why, it's one of the most boring and saltless songs in the album. The first half of the album is more straight power metal, the second half more experimental. I would say it's my fourth or fifth prefered Angra album, so not much on top. I like Angels Cry, Holy Land, Rebirth, Aqua and Omni better, with Holy Land being the number one for me.

I've never heard of them. I've been missing out...

Amo angra ❤
Great reaction! The kid in the video is a reference to Andre Matos (it reads AM in the kid's bag).

According to Marcelo Barbosa it is the opener, with that intro and all.

Great song and great reaction

Their prime
This is the opening song. The orchestral part is the opening and when the drums starts is the actual first song.
This album is already a classic! In my opinion, it's already in the Band's Top 3.
"Temple of Shadows" is my favorite ANGRA album.
This new song kicks ass. I miss Kiko, but he's getting the big paycheck with Megadeth now.
Braziilllll.... ❤
Nice!
“Imagine if this is the opener” yeah it is 😂
Greatest

Temple of hate, is probably pinnacle Angra
Angra é sempre top
Angels Cry is up there with Temples for me personally.
Vision Divine vibe!

New Cannibal Corpse!!!!
Tô understand this, you have to listen 80s Viper Album called Soldiers of Sunrise
Nope... Best album is Tample Of Shadows
Tampon of Swallows
Angra is a progressive “melodic” metal band. Superior musicians. Great song writers.
