Comedic genius on the fly, intelligence to mesh other personalities(guests), and overall real life street knowledge, would have been gold. But you can't have both at the same time unfortunately. He was right but i highly doubt it was a principled stance. Its clear to me after consuming so much O and A that he views EVERYTHING through the lens of how it effects his ego or his radio show by extension. He's quite happy to throw a hissy fit or get sulky, hang up on, ban, block and sabotage anyone who criticises or makes fun of him... On a comedy show. He's happy to exploit people when it benefits him but he hates being the target. You can almost garauntee he only cares about free speech because it might damage his show, not because it's the right thing to do.
