I am a santoor student.....though I have not taken direct talim under him but always followed and tried to copy his style,meend,laykari etc....but my son is taking talim under Ninad Daithankar,son of senior disciple of Pt Phivji, Dr Daithankar...we the santoor fraternity has lost our gaurdian and he was just like a big big tree under him we all remained peaceful and happy.....Rest in Peace Pt Shivji
