    In the US, there'd be big machines making these things. It's so fun watching how people can come up with ways to make so many things by hand.

    OMG!! How close was the circular saw blade to the guys wrist when he was cutting the slot in the frame pieces?!!

      When it comes to safety there is a great deal of cringe in most of these videos.
      The process / thing being made is usually pretty creative, especially with what they make with not that much. But the (lack of) safety gear and procedures is scary.

    • @JeffreyBenzodiazepines
      @JeffreyBenzodiazepines 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just think about it, if this process were as unsafe as you're suggesting, there wouldn't be millions of carpenters and machinists to film and make these videos, you're too paranoid.

    Love watching people with skill do a job. These guys could do it with their eyes closed. No complaining. Just work. If the rest of the world had their same work ethic, things would be much, much different.

      This comment frustrates me. Yes, they work hard. What about conditions? Did you not see all the flies indoors? What of their wages? Are they able to support their families with the essentials of food, clean water and adequate, safe shelter? What of safety or worker insurance? If a worker is injured on the job and can't perform their task, are they cared for or tossed to the curb? What about working hours? Do they work like this 18 hours a day, or else? There's more here than simple work ethic.

      "There is no written contract and the only proof of employment is a card. The factory management marks the attendance of the workers themselves and signs everybody out after nine hours so that if the record is ever inspected, it would appear that the management is complying with the law. In truth, we work longer hours and there is not even sick leave. Salary is deducted if someone is unwell even for a day. There is no maternity leave. Any woman who becomes visibly pregnant is told to leave."

      There's no way that's a skilled job, a monkey could do it. As for quality it's a "close enough is good enough" standard.

      You could check with your local sports goods shops if they import those. Otherwise you might have to check Amazon. If you happen to know any Pakistanis living in your area, you could ask them to guide you as well.

    I can remember as a boy in the 60s (USA) playing carrom. I was just reading a wiki article and I'm pretty sure we were not playing anything close to the rules but we were little kids. It was in some public place I went to like a YMCA or a youth center. Can't remember for sure.

      The shoemaker would.
      But the finished product would be classed as “handmade shoes” whereas if you found some leather and thought,
      How hard could it possibly be. lol
