Not exactly the typical "dream roles" 💀 but: Preppy Stud, Beleaguered Geek, Hipster Dork, Veronica's Dad, Big Bud Dean, Kurt and Ram's Dads (these are a lot of fun tbh), Principal Gowan, Coach Ripper, and the cops (and, in my case, Stoner Kid instead of Stoner Chick lol)
I think the implication is that your dream role wouldn’t be from Heather’s in the first place (not that it’s bad if it is just literally everyone in the show is a horrible person 💀)

The thing that gets me through auditions is the fact that one of my band teachers is part of the band for a very, very famous musical and I got to talk to the lead who I had already seen in the show. Perks of being a theatre and band kid.
My non - theatre bestie decided to take a quiz with me. It was ‘Which Heathers: The Musical Character Are You?’ So I decided to take it first and I got Heather Chandler (my dream role!) and then she took it. She got J.D and then she wondered why I was so disturbed. So I had to explain that J.D is a psychopath. Anyway, it showed a picture of the character you get so she looked at the picture of J.D and said “Well at least he’s hot, I’m okay with that” LIKE WTH!!??
I had a girl in highschool that was sure she would get the role of Annie, but she wasn’t even being considered. It was between the 2 seniors and a 7th grader. So anytime she would be on stage she would severely over do everything and tried to take the attention away from the rest of the cast.
Cast list for my high school’s Amelie the Musical came out and I got into ensemble!!! And for theatre class we’re watching the neighboring high school’s The Prom! :D
