Every person should do this. Even if they have no desire to work remotely. Writing things down and making comparative lists and always good ideas. It brings clarity and focus.
This exercise is so smart. I sort of always thought that all my interests and the things I’m good at were so different and random (and useless- this is the low self esteem part of me talking) .. but I know I can intersect them if I brainstorm enough and be courageous in trying it out. I love the idea of being a consultant, making my own hours and website. Having a chronic illness has held me back a lot but this pandemic is normalizing working from home and location independence. I’m learning a lot from your vids. Thank you.!!
Yes you can do it! Being a jack of all trades is better than being good at one thing imo. The magic is in combining your skills in a unique way. My online course would be perfect for you! Check out the “Make Money Mentorship” at www.digitalnomadbootcamp.com
This is what I've been struggling with - I was in the military a long time and now I am a lawyer - and neither career transfers well to the digital nomad lifestyle! I started a blog and vlog though - I know that's a slow, long building process though. Are you in Bansko here? Man, I really need to check that place out!
It can be challenging to transform a traditional job to a remote one, but where there's a will, there's a way! I know some nomad attorneys who consult remotely. Ex-military can end up in private security or systems management. It depends on your role! A Blog/Vlog is also good but not the best source of immediate income. More of a long-term plan. I'm currently in Amsterdam but loved Bansko; will be publishing more videos from there soon!
My why ? is to travel and have the freedom of new places I’ve never seen before but I don’t have much skills of teaching or making vlogs I do see myself being a TH-camr in teqching but i dont know what 🤦🏻♂️
I'm incredibly lucky that my employer is willing to let me work remotely, even from another country, albeit with a reduced workload and salary. So I'm looking to transition to a self-employed career within a year or two. I'm probably going to watch this video multiple times. Ok. #11 of 44.
@@TravelingwithKristin I think I have to. I've been reluctant to spend time and money on this dream unless I knew I could be successful. It's time to change that thinking and get off the starting blocks. Thanks!
