Just got back from Cozumel and stayed for 10 days. Our friends that live there told us about Del Mar and we met them there. Can't beat the $39 price anywhere! Awesome food, drinks, pool and snorkeling. The staff was amazing as well! Will go back for sure!
Great to see other options, but Mr.sanchos has done us so well with service and great beach.

My husband and I went to this beach club on our 20th anniversary cruise!! If you want to relax and have a low key day, this is the place. We loved it! Quiet and not crowded.

Definitely looks like a good alternative if you want the all-inclusive spoiling, especially food and drink, but don't expect to take advantage of a regular beach. Price seems very good too!

It looks like a great place for a great price!
I went there in December and enjoyed it. Water access is steps and rocky area but great for snorkeling. We saw sea cucumber, starfish many other beautiful fish. We walked it and wasn't a bad walk. Ask for rum floater if you want stronger drink.

That shrimp looks good! I noticed the food menu had prices. Was the food not included in the all inclusive?
Also, i noticed your right by the road. Could you hear the traffic?
Food was great..did not hear traffic at all..(the music was bumping)...and the prices are if you go ala carte..I'm thinking locals might just go there for lunch at times..all the food was included in the all-inclusive price. Thanks Flam Pam!!!

Kind of funny I guess the place sounded really nice so I thought I would check it out and every day is available to book except the date that we will be there.
It looks like a lot of fun, does it have any sandy beach available?
Western caribbean : Cozumel - is ok port & Costa Maya ok port & Belize ( if you are into nature - ruins / Roatan is nice
Eastern caribbean : St. thomas - Very nice port area & other eastern caribbean ports are nice port view area / Also Aruba , Curaco ( have NOT been to Bonaire yet )
I think we'll try this one in October.

You make the reservation with a small deposit, and pay the balance when you arrive.
12000 Americans coming off the ships at one time. Must be something. Everytime I've been there ours was the only ship and the town still hit crowded.

great place but last time when i tried to go back (6th time) with friends they didnt have our reservation i tried to pay on spot but no go bc i couldnt pull up the email if u go bring a copy of the email.. it became embarrassing so ended up taking a taxi to paradise bch, even tho i previously adored this place.
This wouldn’t be bad, but I think we will stick to our usual beach club. It’s a little more money (not much but the taxi ride is $20). Where we go is actually on the beach, and is a large space that only allows 50 guests.

Regarding the Drone footage, do you have any tips on bringing a drone? I plan on cruising and I wanted to take some footage to make a family trip video.
We have a fairly small drone that folds up nicely. Each cruise line has rules regarding bringing them on the ship. DJI makes great drones but there are other good brands to check out as well.
Question. Would you feel safe walking to the beach club or do you recommend a taxi? I walk all the time, but I know some places in Cozumel are sketchy

I booked Del Mar Latino for 12/5/2022 after watching this video. I’m traveling solo on Sky Princess and was wondering if it’s safe to walk to and from the pier?
Yes very safe. Only thing is the street side vendors will try and sell stuff to you.
Hi Sharon and Jaime. QUESTION: Do you guys take anything with you in case the food or drink in Mexico doesn't agree with your stomach?? Another Cruise Content creator advised to bring Ciprofloxacin (Cipro)? Or even worse, catching Noro Virus while Cruising .... do you prep for that?? Thank you in advance.
Jamie and Sharon, do you bring pesos? If not, do you use google to convert to USD?
You can bring pesos if you like, but US is fine too. Download an app to convert, or just be aware of the current conversion rate at the time of your travel.

We are looking for a safe spot to snorkel in clear waters and see the port without an excursion. We will have a10 year old with us. Any suggestions?
Where does this beach club rank in at for you compared to the other beach clubs you like? It honestly looked like a great day and I would love to book it for the future, but my brother is only 17 😩
It's a great little place but it's hard to compare to other beach clubs because it is different. It small and more relaxing than the larger beach clubs. I would definitely go there again if it were just or family or with a few friends.
I'm confused. Why are there prices on the food if it is included.
You can go ala carte as well and just pay for what you get. On non-cruise ship days, they may see more locals coming in to just have a drink or food as opposed to cruisers staying all day long.

Correct...If you get the all-inclusive..then the food is included.

They said it was all inclusive, for both food and drinks for $39 us dollars. Currently the exchange rate is 1 dollar = 20 pesos

Thanks for the video. On the all-inclusive, does the club limit food? We went to Nachi Cocom in October and they limited the food to 1 appetizer; 1 entree; 1 dessert per person.
We had no limit when we went. Maybe some places have put some restrictions in place to counter the rising costs they get hit with.

Do the taxi cabs accommodate mobility scooters?
They do have some larger, van-style taxis that should accommodate a chair that can fold up. You may have to wait a few minutes more when you get to the taxi stand. Hope that helps!!!
I've used my mobility scooter (and my husband walked) to roll to the beach club. Once from the Carnival pier and once from the Royal Caribbean pier. (About 15 minutes give or take.) I love not having to take a taxi in Cozumel to get to this wonderful place!
How did you get drone footage? I read that carnival had a new NO drone policy
They do not have a no drone policy..it is just against the rules to use it while on the ship.

You can do the Ala carte if you want...prices are mostly for locals.

Those prices are in pesos for anyone that is not doing the all inclusive. If you paid for the AI, then those items are all included.
so it's inclusive for Drinks but not food?

Did you take Matthew and your granddaughter? Aren't they 17 and 14? Is this adults only or not?
It is adults only, but they made an exception for us.. If you have older teens, they might make one for others..give them a call to inquire.
So it's not adults only if they make exceptions for everyone's teens
@@sunnychisholm5960 well, it is Mexico and the drinking laws are a bit more relaxed so if you roll in with an older teen, they may not have an issue. I feel like what they don't want is younger kids running around, which is why they say "adults" only. Hope that helps.

It's 18 and older, but they may allow older teens at times. We recommend asking when you call to make the reservation.😁

Love Couzmel but don't buy any jewelry. I got ripped off for 1600.dollars,.my fiance necklace and earrings. After I got back to the states I took the jewelry to appraisal. IT WAS GLASS.

It is a great price....Keep in mind not a beach area but do have access to the ocean to snorkel, but if you enjoy the pool, good food and drinks then it's perfect.
