Cool... I need to learn how to sew. Folks should tell boys when they're younger about all the cool stuff they can make if they learn to sew. Buy clothes at the store..... make awesome camping gear at home!!!
Carolina Chris Outdoors I hear you on that one.. back when I was in school, the boys took wood shop and the girls took Home economics, where they learned to sew, cook, and keep house. I wish I could have learned to sew also.
cool tent, Im not the biggest fan of sleeping on the ground anymore but that's a sool alternative if you don't mind giving it a go. got you to 895 tight lines brother good luck on your push to a 1000
i really like the idea of using webbing straps instead of para cord for peg attachment with the ...D...ring, and the 2 rings on top for suspending the Lavvu instead of using the pole...atb
Mark Hansen I added 14 inches to the bottom. Now I'm sewing the velcro on the tarp that will be the ground sheet. Next i will be making the stove jack. Thank you for watching
have you put it up with the bottom extension on it yet? It must make a huge difference. I got one of these tents myself and am kicking around what mods I want to make to it. So far my list is zippers for front, extension on bottom, arm zippers, stove jack, soft vinyl window. I did some math and it should have a circumference of about 25 feet. The area inside the tent is impressive.... about 50 square feet.
Mark Hansen not yet, I will make the video when I'm done with all the mods. Hopefully a few weeks. I want to get it done for the deer hunt. I also bought the winnerwell stove for it, and it ROCKS!!
Now I'm all caught up on your videos! Looking forward to more! I would not have had the patience to see that poncho tent. Good job!😉🌻✂⛺
