Looks like good quality bundle/bag wood. We’re doing the same thing here the perfect premium wood is going to be used for our bundles and anything that doesn’t meet that standard is going in a big pallet bin for cord wood till we purchase a dump trailer to be able to deliver to customers. Stay warm 8 degrees here today burrr.
Sometimes changes are not in equipment but in storage or something simple. I just finished a clean up and 2 dump runs later. I can see pellets on the ground again.
Russ cinder blocks are invaluable for many projects but keeping firewood off the ground is one of the biggest. I use them to keep a bunch of IBC’s off the ground so they don’t freeze when I need to move them. 👍TCT
Ive used the cinder block stacking system a lot!! Seems to help dry firewood more efficiently! Wish I had a Kevin in my woodyard!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Great setup with the cinder block. My only fail with them was stacking too high. If you ever decide to go much beyond 5’ high, they can start to lean and fall as the wood shrinks.
@WilleysFirewood I like those red firewood bags better than the onion bags. Evening here is so expensive or id have those bags to try. I have to pay $1 a bag for a 20 cent bag, our greedy government gets the other 80, lol.

Those bag do look really nice but they do not hold up in the uv rays from the sun. I have other bags coming to try that are supposed to be more uv resistant.
I dont know if anyelse has commented on this, but the way you’re using that bagging system is different than what is intended. You dont need the bucket. Load the metal container with the proper amount of wood, then slid a bag over the container. Then rotate the. Container while holding the bag. The wood slides into the bag
@@nicknapier8209 hahaha yes you are correct. We are using .75 cubic foot bags and the barrel is sized for the 1 cubic foot bags so they don't fit the way the machine is intended. The bucket is a work around until our .75 cubic foot drum comes. Thank you though!

New subscriber here. Great idea with expanding your business. I’m trying to do the same. Bundles and bags are where it’s at in my opinion. Like your setup with the bagging station right off the splitter. I recently did a video challenging the manufacturers to design a splitter/ bundler processor. All in one unit. The cinder block plan is great. Good stuff.

@ I'm an Allwood splitter dealer so if you want to look at a commercial splitter or options just give me a shout. American makes and veteran owned and operated shop.
All I do is bundles, I hot a Wolfe Ridge 17VS-,C and its 3 times faster than my old horizontal splitter. I fill 3 ibc totes and then move them over to the Twister electric wrapper. Also I made a bucking rack like Dougs at One Eye Customs. It works great. This setup will work great until I get the box wedge processor built.
Try to think about making it easy to load from those racks when it’s time for those to go out. Might need to move the current smaller roadside stands to a different configuration

I haven't made it that far in the video yet but If it is A rack I sell rack to firewood with Cinder blocks. And I put Pieces of wood sticking out of them I'm gonna keep watching to find out

@@leoc3492 with two people I know myself and one other person filling out of the racks can do about 60 bags per hour. We were just fooling around to get the 24 bags we needed today. We had a couple large campgrounds and used to do 600 bags or so per week to each.
@ you will get to see more firewood bathing than you ever wanted soon enough! Off a rack the bags are so much faster to fill and we have the .75 cubic foot barrel coming for the bagger as well.

That is the plan here only perfect wood for this project. No knots defects no nothing. just nice premium firewood.

The bag machine you got if you fill the barrel first and then put the bag over the barrel and dump it in the bag and tie it up on the next one

30 extra cord should give you a nice cusion. I would like to see some plowing as well. We dont get the snow you all do.
I ordered some camera mounts so we can get some plow footage. I tried using my suction mount but it was too shaky
