This has always seemed like an underrated gem to me. It's got an all star cast, and it's a fantastic movie in my opinion, but for some reason, it seems like it was never really that popular.
44:41 "That was so sloppy, what if that ball wasn't there?" The premise is that he's a world-class assassin, he obviously checks his surroundings and can come up with a million ways to kill, he just happened to determine in that moment that using the ball would work just fine...
I saw this movie early on at a film festival in NYC (2006). The screening was outside, in the middle of Rockefeller Center (where the big Christmas tree gets put up every year), and it started pouring rain about 2/3 of the way through. Most people ran to the shop awnings on either side, but my friend and I were SO into the story that we stayed in our seats until the end. We left soaking wet and thoroughly entertained! One of my favorite movies ever since 🌧🤗
If you go to a heavy metal concert and ask them which music is better, heavy metal or country, heavy metal is going to win. That’s how those ratings work. People dumb enough to watch sharknado are dumb enough to love it. Not everyone who watched this movie liked it. Not that complicated.
Lucky Number Slevin is one of the best top 10 movies of all time 1:01:30 - horror genre isn't my favorite either but you should definitely react to 'smile 2' - everything in that movie is top notch especially the phenomenal acting by the lead actress. the first 'smile' movie is a must though in order to fully enjoy the second.
This movie is frickin fantastic, and not nearly enough people watch it. Thank you for sharing your reaction and giving it some visibility. For the record, I still felt bad for the real Nick Fisher.
@29:07 Imagine a 90 mph baseball hitting you directly below your frontal bone (just above your nose), caving in the bottom half an inch or more... That could definitely kill someone... Fun fact; The reason they wear baseball helmets is because Ray Chapman was killed by getting hit in the head with a baseball pitch... And for reference; that pitch was from over 60 feet away.
Lol broken neck can absolutely kill you. That’s how hangings work. The movie part is that it isn’t as easy to break as in the movies. Human bones are actually very hard to break. And also “before the lead male had to be jacked” lol Hartnett is a pretty big dude. He was asked to play Superman in a couple of movies, which he turned down.
Josh Hartnett is one of my favorite actors because of the underrated gems like this one. Lucky Number Slevin is fun and captivating, just like his other film Bunraku. You should check that one out if you liked this one, it feels like a comic book come to life. 30 Days Of Night is also a great horror film and is based on the graphic novel
The cop should have recognized her but yeah besides that one thing it was such a good movie where the clues were all there but they still shock you with their way of revenge everything

Dude, more reactors should check out this CLASSIC! I feel like it snuck by when it came out and a lot of people aren't super aware of it.

This is one of my favorites! Also, Seven Psychopaths! That one's a wild ride lol.
The fact that sharknado got 77% on roten tomatoes and this only got 57% is why i dont trust them

Too many people slept on this movie. It is really entertaining. I liked it so much that I own the DVD. Also...peak Lucy Liu cuteness!
