im surprised baumi thought lifestealer wasnt going to be good hes probably one of the strongest brawlers in the game he can even pull off a 1v5 on a normal match even when the enemy carry is fully farmed
I'd say the early game was very much lifestealer, but the end there it was just a huge net worth difference, he was getting hit from all sides and out of mana even for rage, but they couldn't germt through all the heart 3 and assault 3 and all, medusa could've done great i feel if it had the same chance to get farmed up
i know right, I once used Lifestealer in 1 game, getting Radiance as my first item and i demolished in early and late game, not even Sven and PA together could beat a max item lifestealer
@@matheusrudzevicius6448 honestly, if he had gotten that early kill in the mid lane as dusa, he probably could've snowballed the lobby. Also Blink Dagger is what allowed him to keep getting kills and accelerate the snowball

I think with how much kills are worth, trying to play the early game safe and farm is a huge mistake. Without items the bosses farming speed is just not good enough to keep up with a team of 12 players, and so every moment spent farming early is time spent falling behind, meanwhile in the Zeus game Baumi earned more money from a single kill at 6 minutes than he did farming creeps up til that point, and the game he won was one where he got a kill before 1 minute and then just kept up constant pressure on the enemy team.

The thing is, he didn't hunt for kills when thsy were lvl 1-5, he started jungling instead. The first blood is worth so much gold

No wonder why its so hard to be a boss its because they all can upgrade their items too. Like in late game its basically just
12 miniboss vs 1 boss and those 12 minibosses can chain all of their cc/debuffs.
I personally vouch that the non-boss team shouldn't be able to upgrade their items too to make it a "Boss only" thing and so that its more fair.
( Edit: I made this comment while watching him suffer w zeus but seeing lifestealer deal that immense pressure and snowballing I have mixed feelings abt this suggestion now so idk :/ )
This mod really is balanced around the Boss dominating the early game and the radiant team trying to survive until they can scale too with the item upgrades. Baumi didn't realized, but any Boss hero can easily get first blood when the game starts, he's fast, have more levels and stats. LS was not that special (apart from Rage blocking the towers damage, and this was fixed after some updates)

Mr Baumi - YOu can just check on Rosh on mini map. If it has a red icon it means Rosh is sitting in the pit - that how you know if its top or bot. Or go vising him in Florida when its sunny

Any hero that can hunt for kills early on can claim victory over radiant, even if they are magic-based. The actual problem is that most magic spells are front-loaded, being bursts of damage with relatively high cooldowns. But things like pudge's rot deal obscene numbers of damage consistently, which make them viable.
I feel like some dewarding would be good for Baumi.
It looks like the enemy can just ward freely in prime spots and see what he's up to.
Also, more smoke. Does Baumi assume the opponents don't add sentry wards to their observer wards, even though he always buys invis items for roaming?

Hey Baumi, I've always wondered why you didn't organize your series(like 1x6, literally 3 hours of...,Dota buts) into playlists in your TH-cam channel? I'd understand not having Dota Buts as a playlist because there's just so many already but I personally think playlists are a good idea.

I'm confused about how in the LS game Baumi can see the invisible heroes... is that maybe a perk you get from the megaboss buff?
Every Invisible hero he killed had delayed Invisibility, like glimmer cape, it takes 0.5 seconds to turn Invisible. That's enough time for LS to land at least 1 attack but this attack one-shot them 😅
@@Xtasy99 I don't think that's the case, tbh. It's not fade time, you can see that the heroes are already invisible, yet Baumi see them as if he had true sight. E.g. 42:48 WD had glimmer cape, but he wasn't fading, he was already invisible. A few second later, you can see Sladar passing by clearly in shadow blade, but Baumi saw him and one-shot him. There are other cases like that in the game that you cannot explaining with the 0.5s fade animation because you don't see them fade away because they are already invisible and too much time passes to use the fade animation as explanation. At 42:26 you can see Leshrac successfully escaping with shadow blade instead.

This mode is actually so unbalanced for the boss since 10 players can exactly counter any hero you pick regardless of stats. Definitely need a fk tons of more buffs for boss to actually be a challenge.
This mod have difficulty options, that increases the Boss power. But Baumi always plays on Easy difficulty because the Boss is too powerful. Also, since the day this video was recorded, this mod had a bunch of updates, maybe it's balanced now.
im curious, try turning off auto-attacking (to avoid accidental kills when someone shows up for 0.2 seconds) and have less status resistance?

Zeus is a shit hero in normal dota as well. you need team mates to lower enemy hp so you can KS and build up snowballing. otherwise you are just a jumping ward killer with a cool name.
lifestealer is the answer. any hero with built in survive wins almost every time. Good call to get a blink, jump them early and get ahead very fast.
