I remember watching this when i was 5/6 yrs old. It was as magical as the first time at disney but the amount of times I watched this VHS and tried to replicate the moves was laughable but it still inspires me to this day. When someone leaves such a spectacular creation behind, that is a true LEGACY. On my bucket list is to watch you perform live atleast once more xx
The original Lord of the Dance is so much better. Flatley is talented, but he´s too focused on sexual stuff rather than the art itself. it gets to a point where it gets vulgar TBH

Thought I was the only one that noticed .😮 As time went on, focus got taken off the music and dancing and the show itself became a strip tease / Chippendales That is why Riverdance is still going strong ; no women dancing in their underwear or skin-tight cat suits, and the men are not dancing bare-chested like they do in some of the newer versions of Lord of the Dance.Everyone is dressed tastefully and conservatively and the dancers are pure professionals. In this show, I cringed when he pinched Gillian's butt. That is disrespectful, especially since many of these dancers were married, or had boyfriends and in any other industry, if you touched a co-worker like that, it would be considered sexual harassment. In fact, Jean Butler, his female lead when he was in Riverdance, stated that he made unwanted advances towards her, even though HE was married at the time. It is rumored, that, that was part of the reason that he was let go from the show, even thought they tried to say that it was for 'creative differences'.

I love both but I don't agree it gets vulgar I don't see that at all! I've watched and had all 3! Even my daughter loves these and don't see that!
