Public service announcement: As many of you have so rudely pointed out, there were mistakes. But in case you may have forgotten, they're human. They aren't perfect just like the rest of us, and are allowed to make mistakes. Instead of focusing on when Samyah fell, focus on how she was picked up by Ruthy and still finished right on time like a champ. And instead of focusing on how "messy" it was, focus on how the average age of RFV is 15 and they learned a new set in one night. This was performed beautifully and they deserved their medal. Amazing job Kyra and Kaea and all of the Royal Family. Congratulations on your win, your hard work truly paid off.

i did not even notice, i watched 3 times... your eyes are supposed to be focused on the center which creates all the optical effects, obviously if you're trying to get the worse of them you'll see every single detail...

The best part of it is Parris did not even choreograph this performance. Kaea, Kyra, Corbyn, and Kirsten did this stuff and the performance was still a perfection.

When you know that the entire set was choreographed by Kaea (19), Kyra (18), Kirsten (18), Corbyn (18) because Parris was on her Parris Project and that the dancers are all 18 and under that's amazing. And well done to Ruthy for bring Samyah back for the final that was the move to do.

@@sophiejleigh, At around 4:02, if you look closely at the right side someone got pushed and as a result falls. She Is Samyah, Ruthy grabbed her and help her get up from the fall for the end pose.

@@magentasky3704 No, that's not how it's determined, people mess up all the time, even in royal family. Falling on stage doesn't mean she didnt qualify, samyah just decided to leave royal family and do her own thing. That also happens all the time

Kaea & kyra are both under 20 & they create this insane piece!! A lot of hardwork to train this much people.

Lots of new dancers, so they did well. But when Ruthy picks up Samyah at 4:02 though....that move itself is amazing. Ruthy got her girl's back - too much!
Apparently the judges didn't see her fall, so didn't deduct points which is good!

I compete at the junior division and one of our dancers fall on one part and everybody went crazy because of their fall but when Samayah fall nobody said anything or when Bubblegum have the wrong diss track they said "It can happens to anybody"

It's based off a lot of a routine they did during a mid or end of year showcase I think. I believe it was called Elements, or maybe 4 elements. I recommend finding and watching it here on youtube cus Ruthy killed it just as hard in that!!! It's awesome :)
Their pieces literally give me chills every time I watch them.
I literally cried in the end, like they never fail. And that was a very strong message.
This is still pretty impressive considering they also had The Parris Project. Well deserved! Congrats NZ and the other place winners!
Just to clarify some things. This is not the royal family, this is the Royal family varsity. So saying "they did better last year" or "this isn't their best performance" literally makes no sense because this was their first HHI as a crew. Yes it was a bit messy but that's why they got bronze, this crew is new to the palace under new direction lol.

You might be on top yesterday but fall hard at the bottom th next day. You just need to keep trying and bring back your honor. No need to hate any teams. Be thankful!!!!!

It is well known that a some of the crews create a single choreography with few alternatives and practice that same routine all year round. RF makes them up as they go which is something I really like about them.

I have a feeling that this performance is more than just winning medals. I can see the diversity within their crew. & I think this performance is pure passion & love towards dance. Though mistakes are made, it does not really matter to me anymore because I just felt that they are trying to prove something & it passed all of the medals & wins. Idk. It's just difficult to explain. I wish only the best for RF & to the other crews that competed, you guys are inspiring as well. At the end of the day, our love upon the art form of dance is the only thing that actually matters & no one can take that away from you. Cheers to all! ❤️

Somehow I knew them by this:
Samyah: almighty hair whipper
Ruthy: untouchable girl popper
Kaea: body rolls queen
Corbin: sharp and defined moves
Kirsten: the magi (she can do anything like gurl i cant even roll my hips and she's out there doing more than rolling hips)
they were amazing!!! and ruthy bringing back sorority 2015 with the finger bite popping and "faded" by zhu was great seriously!!!

I got goosebums. They are so amazing.
People will always be critics, but until you understand the work and process behind designing a routine this creative, with this many dancers, you don't deserve to critique, you observe. The visual aspects and the seamless flow from one style to the next is so smooth, you almost don't realize its happening. Major props to the choreographers, you are on the come up, truly! I know we are all accustomed to a specific flavor or style that Parris brings year after year, but its amazing to see these young choreographers showcase there styles like this AND to have such young dancers kill the choreo almost flawlessly - PHENOMENAL!!!
I have watched the winners and LnL first, left a comment praising both of them. Then I watched this and as a proud fan I still find this my favorite performance. It is complex, tight, powerful, original and also full of homage. RF has reached its peak and I think it's safe to say I can die happily now, as our future is bright. (THEY'RE FREAKING KIDS)

Despite everything that could be said about this routine or the placing, I just really think these kids are amazing and really love seeing where the Palace Dance Studios and Royal Family are going. Giving a chance to let kids live their dreams now and do what they love. Big props to Parris and Popa, but especially Kyra for a majority of this. Ugh and I still get chills watching this choreo with all their facials and RUTHY's popping 😭.

w/out a doubt ,individually, they're a caliber higher than the other crews. but what really made the 2 crews (from ph&korea) shine brighter was the fact that people recognize what is an eye-catching performance. rf did great but i think ph & korea had brought to the table what the world wants to enjoy.
You can tell Parris didn't choreograph this :( was still good though.
