Having born in Iloilo city in 1941 during the War from a Japanese Family and being Half Japanese and Filipino it was a very difficult for us during the War.Immediately after the war every Japanese Filipino had to be repatriated back to Japan which could not have been avoided. To see how Iloilo city has changed and to know that even Japanese Filipinos are also greatly welcomed.

Yes we love Japanes in Iloilo. WWII was in the past. We cannot forever dwell in that when the future is much brighter.

      Dear Inigo,
Thank you for your warm comment to my beloved Joe who passed away two years ago. I knew he longed for visiting Iloilo while he was alive, but he could not make it. He was only 4 years old when he arrived Japan with his mother, and his mother’s brother and sister. Since then he could never return to his home country. He sometimes joked about bad side of Filipino, but he never stopped loving them and he was definitely a good, kind and cheerful guy, and I always loved his Filipino nature which he never lost until his last day. I would like to visit Iloilo in not so distant future to see his country on behalf of Joe. Kaori for Joe

I suggest putting English subtitles on your videos so you can cater to a foreign audience as well! Remember that these youtube videos can be accessed & seen worldwide so it's better if you can put English subtitles so you can entice foreign viewers to watch & subscribe to your channel & get them to visit the Philippines!:-)

Mismong reyna ng Espanya yung nagbigay ng title sa Iloilo city na "Queen City of the South" dahil paborito nito ng reyna at isa sa mga progressive na city noon.
While, sa Cebu naman (media) lang yung nagbigay ng title sa Cebu ng "Queen City of the South" dahil mas maunlad ito ngayon kesa sa iloilo.

I'm a Filipino who cannot understand Tagalog. We are now in a global economy where English seems to be the language of choice when it comes to doing business. No offense to the Filipinos that want to talk in Tagalog. However, they have to realize that if they want to attract a bigger crowd that pays them a living wage beyond what Philippines has to offer, I suggest that videos are done in English rather than Tagalog. I mean no disrespect to Filipinos. Just a suggestion for all Filipinos that want to compete globally, speak in English.Or have an English translation on the bottom.
