Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy action role-playing video game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment, and co-published by Prime Matter. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the 2008 game Mount & Blade. Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the Migration Period. Bannerlord was announced in 2012. A Steam page for the game was created in late 2015; the following year, TaleWorlds began releasing weekly developer diaries detailing elements of the game. Indeed. Been in the middle of a war when a marriage has gone through, and despite a few losses, whoever those two are, they get locked up in their honeymoon suite until their next generation is secured XD Medieval fertility rates are more harsh than Sturgian winters.
Corien is *terrifying* , she's frequently claimed my brother, and just as frequently winds up in my party, which means she participates in all of our tournaments. A real murder-midget. I've taken to stuffing a big bear pelt and head onto her and give her the moniker "Little-Bear"
Excellent work here. Usually i find such little variety in the Battanian spouses, male and female, so its great to hear some reasons to choose someone other than Corein.

Vlandia isn't even in the race to be honest. Liena is overrated and Silvind... Not even a single word for that.
Sturgia however is one of the best, having actually competent candidates like Siga and Svana.
I randomly found ladogual and noticed I helped her a lot and had high relationship, I then magically succeeded with all the charm checks really easily with literally 2 charm, and now I made her a good bow woman and governor.
Love this. I really am excited to see a similar video for the Khuzaits, and Vlandia.

I always pick Silvind in Vlandia..this playthrough she gave me two boys and on her latest pregnancy she had twins…boy and girl. Was pretty pleased

All this battanian videos are really giving me that itch to play as battanian. Also even though the faction is Gaelic and Celtic inspired. It nails the German names. Looking forward to the next faction.

I have some old videos on that, but they are very outdated. I may make some new ones going forward.
I like to go with Alynneth .. young with low stats put I level up her stewardship and charm until clan level 2 or whenever I get my first fief and then she’s the governor.
Solid option, to be sure.
You can make a lot of influence by giving your followers in a army troops by donating them and then taking them back high level troops give you more influence.
The patch notes say they fixed this but it's still in the game???

I admit to having a soft spot for Ladogaul since while I've only married her once, in that playthrough we managed to lead Battania to conquer the map. I never became king, But Battania owned the world and I owned what seemed a good third of Battania.
I married Lodugual by chance one playthrough and she kicked my ass in almost every tournament. I could not be more proud.

For me, there is no alternative to Corein, even if i am not playing as a Battanian. She is my number one overall pick.

I find it interesting that the Battanian spouses are among the youngest in the game in comparison to other factions.
I really love how you also choose spouses that we don't really see in a lot of these video types.
Does it even make a difference of how powerful the clan they belong too is?

Yep on the 24th. The mod author picked it up again. Just found it this morning.
Now with the fuill release, we will get more and better mods, and i am sure there will be plenty of options for stuff like this going forward.

Looking at his food tracker and perfectly even 700k denars, I suspect some modding / console usage. She does start with a killer stat spread, though.
Best battanian wife was already taken as was best Sturgian so I took the 40+ year old one and de aged her with the character editor... Still no kids though, maybe I don't spend enough time staying still or maybe the character editor didn't work.

Sometimes things in this game are hardcoded to work one way, so even if you de age her, they might have her hardcoded to not produce children, or have a really low chance built in. I can't say for sure.

Speaking from experience, each and every single day the two characters are together waiting in a settlement will tick the pregnancy chance, so it's not so much "waiting long enough" as it is "the dice gods kept tossing 1s" , etc. Starting out I was losing my damn mind trying to figure out precisely what conditions made it occur, but ignorant as I was at the time, I had a male MC married to a 30+ Lady, and a female MC around 30-ish herself, hence my abysmal results.

@@DIEGhostfish it's the mother's always, I wish it was a dice roll but nope, and it's more frustrating now because before it was the clan's culture, so this is by accident or it was intentional, which again is more frustrating when you see a batanian clan that has by default an empire mother but the kids are batanian
