by the way, about that trap, that trap difficulty level is base on kirito's level, cuz he is the highest level among them, that's why he feel so guilty about their death.
I've seen a lot of people claim this but nothing in the novels or anime backs this up. I think it was simply the case of an inexperienced group falling for an obvious death trap and then getting surrounded by monsters roughly their own level. this is why everyone in the clear group, just like Kirito, is completely overleveled specifically for situations like this. that's the only reason Kirito survived, but even he couldn't kill that many low-level enemies fast enough to save Sachi. the Black Cats got overconfident without realizing they were carried hard by Kirito, and Kirito's blame lies in the fact that he kept quiet all this time. he didn't tell them he was an experienced player who knows his way around, and he didn't speak up when he knew the situation was too dangerous for that kind of group.
@@gamergod9182 that's right, it's never stated anywhere. kirito blames himself for not taking the reins and stop the group before entering the trap. traps usually don't follow the usual gameplay rules anyways, they would have been stronger than the floor level average
everyone of the top players in the clear group is completely overleveled to minimize the risk of dying. that's one of the reasons why progress is so slow: players spend days farming monsters well below their own level for very little experience just to get as much of an advantage as possible before facing a boss. that's also why Kirito being able to solo a boss isn't that much of a stretch as some people claim. it's still practically suicidal, but that's kinda the point in this case...
16:15 Legit af. When I was younger, of course I was all about those epic fight scenes with off the charts effectw, but now, I want that development. I need mad, clever plot progression and character development. Gods, I even skip fight scenes when it is clear who is probably going to win. I crave complexity, not fireworks.
Sachi was pretty much Kirito's first love, and her death really drove him to a low point. Even later in the series, the guilt is still there, and it influences some of his actions.
This is my very first anime and what introduced me to the Universe of Anime itself. SAO is one of my top ten best Anime ive ever watched. i really dont understand why there are so many people hating on SAO. But im pretty sure those who talk trash to it didnt watch it themselves or probably went into the series with full of criticisms in their head already.
I'm glad someone else reacting to one of my favourite animes. All i have seen these last few months was people racting to that garbage (abridged version of sao🤮) so they can increase their viewers count. They don't even understand shit about the story so i really appreciate people who watch orginal anime and tell people their own opinion not faking their reactions
Most classic anime I watches as "cartoons" SAO brought me into anime anew and it will always be one of my favorites because of that.. with flaws and everything

16:30 Such a good point. This episode destroyed me 😭
12:53 yep
This is the 3-episode rule for anime, because usually the 3rd episode of an anime has a breaking point when a character dies.
Thanking Madoka Magica for that XD
Ah Sachi... Love her in one episode and lose her at the same episode...
