One of the best ports to PC ever this game runs flawles and smooth and super high frames Im at 1440P max settings in main story 140 200 and lost legacy a tad harder to run mostly 120 to 165 avg 130s -150 Nice to see a great port

pues se dedican 1 a 2 años solamente en hacer el port, aveces muchas desarrolladoras tardan ese tiempo en hacer el juego en si, pero en sony se toman 1 año para un port nada mas.

I'll agree I would never personally run games at anything less than DLSS Quality, but for the sake of mass adoption we need to start out with games running on the same render target as they would outputting to a 4K TV, so on average you'd still be using 1440p to upscale to 8K, but as long as 8K hardware exists then enthusiasts can use an upgraded PC to run whatever resolution you want.

Upscaling to 8K will require dedicated upscaling hardware, but in terms of the GPU budget to run the games nothing needs to change. XSX/PS5 would run 8K just fine if only they had a fixed function upscaling block to ensure smooth frame output.

That means you need the console GPU to render a base resolution at 4K and beyond 60fps to get upscaled 8K/60. That just isn't happening. We will be getting upscaled 4K/30 out of the consoles once the actual dedicated current gen releases come out.
